Not really a problem as long as Africa continues economic/technology progression though, right?

There should be more than enough resources to expand within the continent.

Well, the flu kills mainly the young, old, and weak, along with people either too stupid, poor or remote to get medical attention quickly enough. So I like my chances.

It is the CDC doing that, not the President. The President and Congress decide the total amount, which is going down. The heads at the CDC decide what to do with it.

The fact that the CDC is allocating a larger and larger % of a smaller and smaller total amount to attack this should tell you a lot.

The news said they are expecting to build one or two new hospitals from scratch in 10 days! They had video of this plot of dirt and several construction vehicles wiggling about on it. Can you even competently plan and design a hospital in 10 days? How can the electricians and plumbers do their thang without getting in the construction guys' way?
