Regular batallion commanders usually does have captain or major ranks.
I suspect that you even had 0 interest about military and yes, I do know stuff even about Rus military better than you know about U.S military. You had proved yourself as uninterested in military technique and military in general during 4 years in row.
You sure know your stuff.
Army Captains are now Battalion Commanders? Would this be in the Ukrainian Army? Who are the Company Commanders?
Why do you think I'm on this thread?I suspect that you even had 0 interest about military and yes, I do know stuff even about Rus military better than you know about U.S military. You had proved yourself as uninterested in military technique and military in general during 4 years in row.
And yes, captain in certain situation might be assigned to fultfill batallion commander duties. In U.S and Russia too.

Care to back that statement up with some facts?
That is a complete lie. I don't know what conflict you are referring to. This is the Ukraine/Russia conflict thread.
Stop talking about Russia and talk about Ukraine. How big is the Ukrainian Army? How many casualties did it have over the past 30 days? How many new soldiers has it been able to recruit and keep?
It's hella amusing to see the Russians on the bottom of the ladder get frustrated,
They start to kind of realise that their leadership doesn't care about effectiveness/competence, it's focussed on loyalty/control.
This used to only be obvious when it came to the top brass, now it seems like they're worried about the cannonfodder too.
