The extreme left and the extreme right buy into all this bullshit from the media like lemmings.

A great great minority of people on the right are "deniers". The media just characterizes them that way to rile people up. I see a lot of left leaning business owners at protests and on videos making the same comments. The media just says they're all Trump supporting militant right militia corona deniers. Most of the protesters would just prefer dangerous freedom to comfortable tyranny. Don't like it? Stay home, you have that right as an American. You dont get to impede my life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness because you're scared, just like I don't get to go around coughing on people when/if I get the 'Rona.

Edit: I also find it despicable that left leaning media outlets jump on the deaths of people out there fighrting for religious, assembly, 4th amendment, etc freedoms. It's like candy to them, they get giddy when they see someone die who disagreed with them on the basis that the deceased wanted to go assemble at church or something and spoke out against the media doomers.

It IS a contradictory position.

The whole point of the “stay home” narrative is that we can “save lives”. It carries with it connotations of “compassion” and “virtue”.

I think that “compassion” is taken away somewhat by laughing at people that caught the virus and are on their deathbeds.

It’s what makes me hate the left, in general, they are so full of shit. They like to act virtuous, holy and compassionate ... when, I’m reality, they are not at all.
