That place sounds dirty
I only met one family that wasn't divorced up there haha
That place sounds dirty
Isn't that exactly what you are doing in this thread?
lol if you think this is a couple of months ...
You just need to look down the passage of time to see where this can go.
You don't have to be even a tiny bit compassionate if you want to save lives, especially if the lives you're worried about are yours and those of people you care about.
I wouldn't wish illness on anyone, but those who denied this was serious, ignored precautions and died as a result have only themselves to blame. And for SURE this is poetic justice because they were encouraging others to take the same risks.
I'm not going to get into if the lock down should end, if it was necessary, or what we should do now, because that's a complicated discussion. My neighborhood is one of the most infected in the country and I would absolutely caught this if they hadn't taken these measures, so I'm pretty biased.
The full shelter orders will not last for much longer barring a complete set back. The whole point is buying time to prepare for a strategic release and care. No one expects a vaccine or herd immunity now, but a rational progression to normal is feasible over the next couple months.
Problem is those people probably spread around a bunch before they even know they have it, potentially end up taking up healthcare resources, and are just increasing the likelihood that restrictions will drag on and on.
Nobody really wins here.

Well, the stay-homers should be safe because it can’t be spread to you, if you stay home!
According to the TS’s logic, if you catch it, you deserve it!
Hey! Dont make fun of ABBA! Thats how wars get started!
I don’t think anyone actually wants to stay at home indefinitely.
There are those that believe the the best way to get back to normal is for people to properly observe quarantine measures in the short term.
I’m fortunate enough to live in a place where that is proving to be true.
indefinitely
/ɪnˈdɛfɪnətli/
adverb
- for an unlimited or unspecified period of time.
There hasn't been a specified period of time here. This could and probably will last for years.
My position, is that of common sense. Go for walks in the parks, go to beach, go jogging, that's fine. Don't go to crowded places, don't go to nightclubs, gyms etc. Wear a mask, wash your hands, gargle with water after coming home.
But, to simply "lockdown!!" and be imprisoned in your own house for an unspecified period of time is freakin' bullshit.
Nancy Pelosi was encouraging everyone to go to Chinatown at the beginning of this outbreak.

I don’t like Nancy Pelosi or her ilk one bit, I find them to be bitter and twisted people. But, I wouldn’t wish death upon them or laugh at them if they contracted the virus and say “ha!! They deserved it!!” like the TS is doing.
That’s bullshit.

Okay.
So it sounds like you’re in agreement that the people opie posted about about are dumb.
Also sounds like you’re arguing against something that very few people if anyone actually wants.
