This user's account is salivating over the PS5 launch with constant tweets of Sony events in Japan. If people like this aren't simply so psychologically warped they feel the need to invent lies about a competitor to a product with which they personally had no role in building or selling, then Sony is deliberately seeding these scandalous lies on social media. Corporations aren't above that, but I doubt Sony would stoop to this level considering every third party business analyst has already projected them to handily win this generation's console war, too.

It's an obvious tell someone is a unhinged fanboy (or just stupid) if they shared the postings of a Twitter account like this as legitimate. I'd avoid anything someone like that had to say about these consoles.

What you're seeing posted is trolling by Sony fanboys. For some reason, I'm only seeing these videos faking hardware failure issues with the Xbox. I'll leave for the forum to divine exactly why this peculiar psychological pathology seems to affect only one side, here, who feel the need to invent lies:

I do not think you’re guilty of trolling despite what some some here accuse you of. That being said, I’ve noticed a certain bias in you in favour of team Xbox over team Sony. I’m curious as to why, because I would have thought that you would have no horse in this race because I’ve always considered you to be “Mr. Master Race” and would have normally presumed that you could not care less about the console wars.

So do you have some kind of personal animus against Sony? Or maybe a personal animus against certain Sony fanboys?

Or am I off base in my assumptions and you legitimately like what you see and are planning on picking up a Series X for yourself? Because I would have otherwise assumed you’d be rocking a Ryzen 5950 with an RTX 3090 or something like that.

Indeed, obviously I'm an objective observer in the console wars. I own a PS4. I don't own an Xbox One. On the other hand, Microsoft's services like Game Pass and platform-neutral business strategy are more favorable to PC gamers. I will not be buying either new console. I hold no grudge against any company. Companies aren't your buddy. At best one strikes an electively symbiotic relationship. They use you, you use them: hopefully to the benefit of both.

All I have done is highlight the superiority of Xbox's hardware and consumer-friendly game service policies. For this I have been abused. The way Sony fanboys on this site take any comparative opinion on the tiniest matter that doesn't favor their pet brand as if you're raping their wife or killing their dog...is unsettling.

This is a pretty good look at Ray tracing on the consoles vs PC's. Basically AMD vs Nvidia given Nvidia currently the PC end right now. Consoles offer some unique advantages over PC. This is only comparing Xbox Series X not Sony Playstation.

Though on Playstation he mentioned Spiderman having slightly different look vs Series X. You can tell Microsoft put a lot of effort into the ray tracing end software wise.

i dunno. but from what digital foundry stated both are running dynamic 4K. Whenever PS5 takes a hit the Series X will experience worse in terms of performance.
