Justin was an absolute nobody back then. Conor asked to fight to Justin after he beat Tony. It’s literally in an email to Dana.
 
why'd he fight a guy coming of an embarrassing loss. khabib/gaethje was on a level of sanchez/conor out class & conor would spark justin like christmas tree in round 1. would be another useless fight for conor. fighting porier with the history they have is they more interesting to see then gaethje getting another big fight where he would choke once again

nobody please. it was a fake call out cause conor knew justin was gone fight khabib next. also in tose dms he said he wanted deigo sanshez most.

conr vs justin could of happened at ufc 246 but conor knew it was to risky so he took the choker cowboy in big events.
