I don't hate Conor and I know how good he is. But fact is you can say "he'd KO Justin" all day long, but fact is he had the opportunity to "remind everybody", and that fight made way more sense to try and get a rematch with Khabib. He could've fought him and he didn't. He picked Cowboy. If Justin was an "easy KO win", he would've fought him already.

If Nate Diaz and Jorge coming off convincing one sided defeats can fight for a title against each other again I am sure Champ Champ with KO wins in three divisions and the single biggest draw in mma history can fight for a title whenever he pleases (assuming ufc pays him enough)

for the record jorge vs nate was marketing not a real belt. conor doesnt need to be in title fights to sell ppvs. also if conor gone box in 2021 no need for him to risk winning a belt to hold it hostage like his done his whole career.

ufc made coonr the higherst paid in the sport so conor can never cry about money.

conor will always be the most popular fighter cause he came at the right time with sociel media blowing up. conor just took chael act and since he won loudly an had a country to to rally to the sport it worked out better than everyone could of every dreamed.

Dustin is coming off a great win , lasted longer against khabib then Justin , and he beat Justin . On top of all that (the previous points are reason enough) there's a whole narrative set up because of their previous fight . So if you stop and think about it for a moment it's obvious .

Why is conor involved at all? Dude hasn't won a LW fight in over 4 years. Should be Dustin vs Justin for the belt and Charles gets the winner. Conor shouldn't get a title shot at LW without fighting a contender first (conor knows he loses is the real reason why).
