From the looks of twitter, Nate doesn't think he can make 155 on 11 days notice and the UFC wants to keep the fight at 155. I don't see the issue with a 165 catch weight and it's hard to imagine Conor would have a big problem with it. What do you guys think?

Interesting. Out of all the options I like Diaz best. I hope they make it work.

It is funny how Conor talks about taking the 170 lb belt but when the chance to fight at 165 show up and save the show comes up he seems hesitant. You'd fight Robbie fucking Lawler at 170 but not Nate at 165?

Then when you realize he's always talking about being the bigger fighter and how everyone at Featherweight is a bunch of midgets it kind of puts things into perspective.

I don't think Nate gives a shit who he fights. He's fought plenty of kickers.

155 for interim belt obviously... 170 will also be for a belt 165 does not have a championship

Since he is already guaranteed a shot at 155, why not test the waters at a heavier weight?Even if it's against a 155 pound fighter, it's better than nothing.

*Interim title? That is just nonsense when the title was defended 2 months ago.

You are wrong, conor is the one fighter that walks the talk. It needs to be 155 for interim belt is all.

McGregor wants the fight at 155 so it can be for the interim title.

Diaz fight makes no sense to me. And they would use the short notice excuse.

Ferguson and Cerrone the only fights to make. Both Ferguson and Cerrone are in shape and ready to go.

McGreggor is probably more than 165 pound today

One of the mutiple reporters trying to be first to a story. Twitter looks like a bunch of angry school children right now fighting to be first to the big news.

A catch weight fight would be pointless
