Is he even acting?

Right, which is also not the kind of nuanced role that would require him to have much acting skill.
Actual acting aside tho he looked much more comfortable in front of the camera then the other MMA fighters I named (Randy, Ronda, GSP). They had looked very ackward and uncomfortable in their roles. Even Gina Carano was pretty ackward at first but she got better over time (Deadpool, Mandalorian)

That is cute how they use a tiny doorway to make him look taller. Must have got a deal on the TOm Cruise Jack Reacher props.

More comfy than this all star cast?

I think not.

I’ll definitely watch it when it’s on Netflix

It won't be half as classic as the original, but this actually looks like fun.

I wonder if Conor will tell Dalton how he used to fuck guys like him in prison.

Because he was coked out

He could win an Oscar for his performance, but I aint really interested in watching that movie nor his acting, I've seen it before in the ufc and it comes off try hard ish and unnatural
You're not wrong, but it seems to me that his try hardish and unnatural acting finally found an appropriate home....in a try hardish and unrealistic action movie. That's not meant to be a knock on the movie. I think it looks rather enjoyable. Its easier for me to suspend disbelief and enjoy a bit of fiction in the context of a movie than in MMA.

Ive seen enough from the clip. Id rather cut my heart out with a spoon than watch that.
Mainly cos it looks like absolute garbage, but I hate remakes with a passion. Hollywood had lost its creative direction

Jesus Christ he's terrible. doesn't help that he's acting along side Bubble Boy (who's amazing). but Conor is a fuckin terrible actor.

Not sure what you mean by uncomfortable in front of the camera; they edit and reshoot scenes where an actor looked uncomfortable. GSP's recent roles showed a more developed actor because he has been taking serious acting classes for a long time now. He's a technically better actor.

I bet the bloopers have him referring to himself by his own name instead of his character.

He’s overacting.
Looks bad.
Jake Gyllenhaal is always good, though.

He plays a great coke head. He's so bad it actually sort of good lol. The director should have told him to dial it back a bit, he is cartoonish.
