If you want an irrelevant fight featuring Conor just make Conor vs Nate 3 while you’re at it.

interested in fight for sure but the winner better not get anywhere near a title shot for the win. It is basically an exhibition at this point :p

If this even happens you have to assume it's the last time for Conor so I would like to see a better opponent, but I doubt he would agree to fight for an obvious humiliation which is the majority of the roster at this point. I see their role as more hypemen for the event than the fight itself. Fuck it. It'll be fun if it happens. Chandler smokes him btw.

I can't believe anyone's actually interested in seeing this fight rather than hoping that it provides for some amusing rubbernecking entirely unrelated to the MMA merits of the fight. And, as there will already be more than enough to point at and laugh at if this card comes to happen, I'm not really sure what the rubbernecking appeal is supposed to be.

Chandler's been pretty unwatchable in his recent fights and, if not for cheating, wouldn't have any recent highlights of note at all. Connor was clearly falling apart the last time he fought and since then he's bulked up a lot, slowed down a lot more, done no apparent rehab on his leg after several years, tripled his cocaine intake, and generally seemed about as eager to fight as he is to get consent for sex.
I don't disagree that the fight is so beyond its 'sell by' date that it seems meaningless. The UFC would make a bunch of money...Chandler would finally get his pay day. Conor probably sees Chandler as the most beatable 'name' the UFC will agree to, and he probably desperately wants to try and fight out his UFC contract so he can move on to bigger money circus shit.

I can't even predict how it goes. Would anyone be surprised to see Conor quickly wilt under the pressure Chandler could bring early, confirming the 'washed' feelings that many have? On the other hand, would anyone be surprised if Chandler's lack of fight IQ delivers another 'exciting loss' that he seems to prioritize over implementing smart game plans?

If there is one 'good' thing about this silly fight, it is that neither guy is top-of-division calibre anymore (never mind 'champ material')...so maybe it actually would be a competitive and entertaining fight if they both come ready? I don't know. I do know that I would still watch it though...why not?

I'll watch, just because this fight has dragged ass getting made, but it's just popular fighters who are washed.

I am watching and so are you.
I can't imagine why anyone would actually want to watch this fight if it were to happen. I'll probably give in and watch a White House if it happens (with a hair-trigger on the mute button), but there's no way I'd subject myself to the soporific and vile commentary and incompetent fighting of a live Chandler/McGregor fight. If it ends with a double KO, or voided bowels, or Khabib rushing the cage and killing them both then I'll watch the appropriate highlights. If it actually turns out to be a good fight I'll maybe watch a replay on mute, but even in the radically unlikely event that it turns out to be a reasonable watch in isolation it will still be a completely irrelevant fight going forward, so I probably wouldn't bother unless it's fight-of-the-year caliber.

At this point in their careers, Chandler is garbage and Conor moves and kicks like a paraplegic. Shitposting on Sherdog is much more entertaining than a McGregor/Chandler fight rates to be, and even if Luffy's resurrected and becomes 95% of Sherdog posting volume, reading Sherdog will be orders of magnitude less stupid and infuriating than McGregor/Chandler hype and commentary would be.

People hating on chandler I'd rather watch him fight than another canelo vs Crawford fight..

At least chandler is exciting doesn't go for points and uses all of his 15 minutes trying to win... And is doing so at the top of the level..

I think conor is still young enough to do something and if he can make a spectacle out of chandler we can see a conor illia fight or conor max fight next year.

The only striker to best him was DP and that was basically because dp used leg kicks very well. Illia doesn't kick..

And max loves to bang. Even a conor vs gaethje would be a hell of a fight. Either way it could be his last bout also.

I am absolutley gonna watch this shit show.

Fuck anyone who thinks they are above this shit.
I have zero problem watching two squirrels fight in front of my window. That absolutely doesn’t gauge if this trash should even happen in a reputable organization as headlining event. Try that on for size. I am above believing this bullshit should headline

Anyone under the sincere belief that Chandler Mcgregor should be what represents the UFC on a Whitehouse card is a bozo. Definitely prefers pro wrasslin type. Don’t trust him. Pass it on

Am not, and will not see it. Or that card.

Actually, I think I've had enough UFC for my lifetime. Got bored. And I am not a big fan of turning the sport into a propaganda vehicle for Trump. So there we go.

I have no problem with the fight, the problem is that your making it the main event of a big card with two irrelevant fighters

I don't got a problem with Conor fighting but come on man. The UFC is the premier League for MMA. Conor shouldn't be anywhere near a card like this. But if we're talking solely on big viewership then sure I guess

Whitehouse show is over the top, Chandler Mcgregor is over the top.

What are you going to watch, a junkie vs. a flesh-and-blooded fighter with all due respect,
