Conor McGregor has always been a hype job

Sure, and I can post evidence of Anderson Silva losing to Ryo Chonan and Stipe Miocic losing to Stefan Struve, what will that prove tho?

But keep telling yourself whatever helps you cope bro, I imagine last night was very rough for you.
Lol at calling all of Conor's wins flukes. Stay bitter, stay poor

Conor haters have surpassed the nuthuggers in mental retardation

He was legit at 145. But he knew he won the lottery against Aldo and 1 week notice Mendez. Which is why he didn't rematch them. He knew Edgar was dangerous. Avoided the fight. He would never have earned a title shot with any top 15 LWs schedule. I'm not kidding when I say he loses to Dariush, Lee, Gillespie and more. Michael Johnson would've been a 50/50. 155 is tough. He would gone something like 7-7 against the top 15. He could never put together a Tony, Khabib or even Oliveira win streak. Which is also why he doesn't defend belts. Exciting fighter. But not elite at 155. Specially once Khabib emasculated him and destroyed his mental warfare with him. Nobody would ever fall for the mind fuck again.
He wanted to fight edgar multiple times

mma isn’t a sport you can just come and go. after the eddie fight, he stopped fighting.

He's got too many good wins for that. 3 title wins, all by stoppage. Already beat Poirier, as well. The Floyd fight took years out of him. Not really the rather soft standing TKO, but the preparation and focus on boxing only.

Him now using a boxing stance is, imo, the aftermath of that venture. Also the hunger to still win a boxing title. And a MMA title. Can't do both, sports are too different.

I don't think it would make sense to conclude that Conor was a hype job after he lost to someone whom he has already beaten.
no, just look at the whole body of work in the last 4 or 5 years.. Look at how he has lost every fight (including outside the UFC), he's full of quit, especially when he can't get somebody out of there. And now he's wasted his prime doing nothing because he delayed the inevitable by not defending belts and taking fights.. Even more beautiful to see now

Where did I say they were a fluke?

Why would I be bitter, I just watched your man crush get exposed for the third time in four fights. It was beautiful, and now fluffers like you will be less and less on this forum, it’s a great day to be an mma fan.

.... with the UFC giving him opponents that he matches up well with stylistically.
Sorry, but you can't say that.

Not when he went through two champions and battle-tested veterans.

He is many things. He maybe got shortcuts to titles he did not deserve to get.
But he won those matches.

Then ran from the rematch because deep down even he knew it was a fluke

I personally would have liked to see a rematch, but if you ko a guy in less time than it takes to withdraw cash from an atm, I don’t think it’s 100 percent necessary to grant him a second fight. I believe Aldo turned down a short notice rematch, iirc.

Conor was always a bad matchup for him anyways, though perhaps nowadays Aldo would have a better shot.

No was a great fighter.. Can still be again if he puts the work in.. Time will tell..

<Lmaoo>

Many posts of you saying Conrad was looking amazing and in shape in yesterday’s weigh-ins

And now Conrad isn’t putting the work in?

Conrad got stiffened by the better fighter, get over it

Have your fun.. I am a good sport...

Since the Alvarez fight in 2016, he fought 2 times in MMA in preparation for this, in the same timeframe, Dustin Poirier competed 9 times against the likes of Khabib. There was moments in this fight where Conor looked good but also at times he looked really sloppy.
