News *** Conor McGregor Found Civilly Liable for 2018 Sexual Assault MEGA THREAD ***

Were you bummed out when the Bill Cosby Show reruns got cancelled?
the guy that was criminally convicted multiple times? no ..

I bet you get mad when someone gets cleared of murder, cleared by things now days like DNA tests and gets to leave jail after 30 years though.

According to him, Conor not being criminally charged is proof he is innocent.
Its like the man never had to deal with the police.
Quote where I said that .... oh wait you can't ..

stick to Reddit

This is why you get clowned on in the WR, even by people who you side with. Lol.

Oh, your logic is that a rich, famous person can't get criminally charged, which takes more substance, investigation, and burden of proof to prove they're guilty. But in a civil case, where all those things aren't in play, that famous person doesn't have that power. Sound logic? I bet your cat is a vegetarian (we know who made the choice).

As far as the boredom talk goes, you responded to me and quoted me, and I responded back. I usually skip your posts and don't initiate conversations because I know it goes nowhere.
Yes because the rich and powerful has never been able to get out of troubles ever..
Its not like money and connection ever helped them..

"I usually skip your posts"

So people clown me but you skip my posts.
I believe you skip my post because I dont get clowned in the WR.
Secondly "my side" which side would that be..
If you did not skip my post you would see I made fun of both left and right.
But then you are known to be an idiot who gobbles up SoMe post as news.
This just confirms it.

Go back to skip my posts, so you can focus on defending Conor.

K bye

Was Cosby criminally convicted multiple times? I thought it was just one case, with that female athlete that he settled out of court with in a civil case, then got charged in criminal court years later.

Did you think OJ was innocent?

Let him speak for himself dipshit.
Try reading for yourself so I don't have to do it for you.

So he’s hoping someone gets hurt just so he can revel in someone he’s never met going to prison? Sounds like a real loser.
Don't start projecting just cuz you made a fool of yourself. The point is, Conor is a monster. No one is hoping he hurts someone. He will. The hope is that when the monster can't control himself, he actually gets caught up in the criminal justice system that time

Hey ChatGPT, did Trump rape anyone?
ChatGPT: There is no criminal conviction that has been made against Donald Trump for rape.

@HenryFlower it looks like you're too dumb to understand all of the lies and propaganda you consume just like all of the other far-left communists. Maybe spend less time on Reddit and watching MSNBC.

I bet you also believe Trump is convicted felon, try asking ChatGPT that question also. I'll help you out, he isn't.
He has been convicted, there just hasn't been a sentence, and that sentence will basically go nowhere now that he's president elect.

It's too good of an idea. They should do it immediatley to save it while they still can.
Word, now it will have the biggest impact. best bang for buck.

Then let Illia smash Connor in the octagon, surrounded by adverts for Proper 12 who now pay illia hahahaha

It is in the US, people just don't realize it.

Doctor Disrespect was caught sexting a 17 year old girl, and Twitch banned him and ended their contract. They still had to pay out his contract, despite the fact that he violated his morality clause.

Almost every major sponsorship contract has provisions for ending the contract. They might not pay out the full value, but they usually have to pay out a large % of it. Companies trigger the morality clause to end the contract and "part ways" with someone, but that doesn't mean they don't have to pay. They have to prove egregious violations in court to get out of paying.

At bare minimum, when you owe someone money and you want to argue you shouldn't have to pay them, you either have to pay them and sue them in court, or put the money in escrow and again go to court. It's not worth it for companies to go to court when they'll likely lose, so they just pay out the contracts.
There are elements of truth, but not entirely.

Whether a company must pay out the full or partial value of a contract when invoking a morality clause depends heavily on the wording of the clause and the circumstances surrounding the termination. Some contracts stipulate that invoking the morality clause voids the company's obligation to pay further compensation.

Also, it is not a universal requirement for companies to pay or place funds in escrow when terminating a contract. Whether they must do so depends on the terms of the contract and applicable laws in the jurisdiction. In employment contexts, such as high-level executives or athletes, disputes about unpaid compensation (e.g., severance or bonuses) often hinge on the specifics of the contract.

In leagues like MLB and the NBA, many contracts are fully guaranteed. Even if a player is released or their contract terminated under a morality clause, the team may still owe the remaining salary unless they can prove the behavior violated the terms .

In the NFL, contracts often include non-guaranteed portions, meaning that invoking a morality clause can allow teams to cut a player without paying the remaining amount.

It's not cancel culture. He was found legally liable of rape and it's obvious brands aren't going to want to be associated with that. Cancel culture is more applicable to people like JK Rowling.
Mike Tyson has a ton of sponsors and served time for rape he had sponsors and fights straight out of jail... what's the threshold on cancel culture compared to what you're describing ?

Not the same news as retailers no longer carrying the brand, Proper 12, as of 15 minutes ago drops Conor as the face of the brand.

Great news, we don't need to see his ass on UFC event Proper 12 marketing anymore

"Since 2021, Proximo Spirits has been the 100 percent owner of Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey," the company said in the aftermath of McGregor's case.

"Going forward, we do not plan to use Mr. McGregor's name and likeness in the marketing of the brand." [h/t The Irish Times]

Alongside Proper No. Twelve Irish whiskey, many other products linked to Conor McGregor are being removed from stores across Ireland.
Couldn't happen to a nicer guy, Fuck that guy

I thought cancel culture was more about people saying things that are controversial and being cancelled for it. I'm not sure where I draw the line on what constitutes cancel culture but I definitely draw it before rape.
