So you can't be a legit WW if you ever made 155? I've weighed anywhere from 160 to 230 as an adult. I don't think just because someone has fought at 155 that they are not "real" at another weight class.

But I get your point. Conor has all these claims to fight at 170 and 185 but he is challenging smaller guys like Chandler to 185 that doesn't have any merit.

Cerrone was a welterweight though. He was just a cherry picked one that he could beat because he doesn't have particularly strong wrestling and he was at the tail end of his career. But his size was legit.

Not sure what your weight has to do with anything as you're not a pro fighter. Cerrone was a legit fighter but he was never really a force at 170 (slightly above .500 I think) and wasn't a hulking test. The claim that Conor is competing at 4 different weight classes, is to me, negated by the fact he's just fighting guys from his lower classes at blown up weights. If he were to challenge a Costa, Whittaker, Leon, Usman, shavkat, etc it would have a lot more credibility

Meh. BJ Penn has fought at FW, LW, WW, MW, LHW, open weight.
Kenny Florian and Diego Sanchez both fought at FW, LW, WW and MW. In fact, they fought each other early in their careers at MW, where they had no business fighting. But that was a little more common then. At this point, there's so much depth in most divisions AND so many fighters who have mastered weight cutting that it would be hard to pull off...unless it's older guys like Conor and Nate deciding to fight at MW just so they don't have to cut weight.

I remember when this fact was the trump card in BJ Penn fan's magic deck.

Conor exposed the bizzniss so hard.

He had 4 fights in the 12 months prior to the Conor fight, and they were all at LW. It's not like he made LW a couple times 5 years before, he was a LW at the time and had just lost to Justin Gaethje a few months earlier. That's why Conor picked him, because he didn't want to cut weight but didn't want to be undersized, and Cerrone was coming off 2 stoppage losses in 6 months.

Who gives a fuck? Conor is only fighting LWs in all these other weight classes. Conor fighting Mighty Mouse at HW doesn't fuckin make either one a HW or even close to it. Would be different if Conor fought a legit WW or a legit MW or a legit LHW or a legit HW, but he only fighting LWs at bloated weights. So saying he fought at 4 different weight classes is complete and utter bullshit.

This guy gets it

bwahahah

Nate and Cowboy were studs.

This was always the plan. Conor is the greatest combat athlete of all time, coming for all the belts.
Nate getting litterly ragdolld by Rory multiple times ...what a stud

How do you guys feel about the great feat of Conor fighting in 4 weight classes

IMO I don't give a shit ....he keeps bringing LWs up to 170 and 185.

But I'm sure he will use that to boost his ego saying he's won fights in 4 different weight classes in the UFC

What are your thoughts ?

Classic starting a thread/discussion about something you don't give a shit about?

Well, with his ability to go down in weight to very unhealthy walking dead-levels and now that he has blewn up to a ballewn, anything is possible.

I always wondered of context of this one. Like did:
1)Someone just happen to catch Conor at the beach when he was doing this
2) Did someone stalk Conor like 24/7 and then catch him in act
3) Did his own crew film this to some documentary material?

Either way its one of the funnies mma related stuff Ive seen and all explonations sound just as funny to me.

Its not really a great feat. Its roids and being too rich to cut weight.
It's not impressive if you havent won these fights.

Irrelevant and unimpressive due to who he's actually fighting. He's had fights at 170, but they were against guys who had their careers at 155. He never fought an actualy welterweight. Same will be true if this Chandler fight does indeed take place at 185 pounds. Chandler is a 155er, not a middleweight. So saying "Conor fought at middleweight" or "Conor has wins in 4 divisions" will be meaningless. He only has real wins against guys from 2 divisions.
