Confessions of a gear-bitch

Reading that shit article also makes clear that he had no fucking clue what he was doing. His gear taking is the equivalent of a gym idiot deadlift.

His nutrition "strategy" is even worse. Who the fuck eats 20 cans of tuna in a day? Even pro BB's dieting down for a competition don't do idiotic shit like that. They may eat very clean and plain, but definitely not 20+ cans of tuna.

It's also laughable that he was so impressed that he could do chinups with a 35lb plate around his waist while on steroids among his other "incredible" feats of strength.

Ridiculous article and it's very sad that someone could be such a tool if it's true.

Reminds me of the movie "Supersize Me."

I'd wager that this guy never took anabolic steroids at all, he just researched them for his novel, learned enough to feel comfortable writing about them, then decided he could get publicity for the novel by penning a confessional piece about his supposed usage.

Side note on tuna -- the reference to 13 grams protein per can sounded off to me, so I just looked at the Bumble Bee tuna sitting by my desk. A 6 oz. can (variety -- chunk light tuna in water) has 13 grams of protein all right -- per serving. A 6 oz. can has "about 2.5" servings per can or roughly 32.5 grams of protein per can.

I have a hard time believing someone plowing through 20 cans of tuna in a day wouldn't read the label more carefully. Though I s'pose he might have been eating those tiny little old lady-sized cans -- y'know, because of the steroids.

Yea im not all that impressed with his "record breaking" lifts and before and after photos. I'm a lean 180lbs and my lifts are alot better than his juiced lifts...

Correct, as long as when you make up a bunch of fucking bullshit and lies it's ok if it supports an ignorant public bias.

Whatever man. You feel free to think they are okay and take the easy pussy way out or support others that do it. I'll continue to train like a man with nothing but some whey protein, a multi, and some food. To each his own i suppose.

mr superman's kryptonite seems to be that he is a fucking idiot.

The dude failed at taking steroids... and imagined symptoms that were not typical of his cycle.

On top of that, despite PCT, he gets bitch tits and loses all of his gains..... I call shenanigans

What a douche. If some can find his contact info, send him a link to this thread so he can explain himself.

Purely from the photos, I agree with those who doubt his steroid use.

The guy looks like someone who does 4 months of Crossfit, grappling, or other relatively strenuous bodyweight exercise.

He claims he ended up at 240lbs. - that's about 50 or 60 more than I'd have guessed from that "after" picture.

Dude must be 8' tall.

+1

MMAftfw - read further into his statement. It wasn't simply a defense of steroids.

Possible to fit any more stereotypes in to one article?

Its like he suffered every possible side effect

this is a joke, he doesnt mention shit like acne, but manages to get a swollen cranium, and swollen prostate, ok there,

its like he googled "steroid side effects"

and wrote down that he suffered from all of them

exaggeration or not

after reading that, i dont think i will ever use steroids

(not that i ever would in the first place)

perhaps it was inadvertently the the desired effect of that article

This is the stupidest fucking thing I've ever read. No fucking way does he weigh 240lbs in the second pic.

You're the kind of person I'd like to have around if I ever decided to start a cult.
