That story seems a little embellished. He says he lost 13 pounds overnight. I think this guy is trying desperately to sell books.

His routine sucked. At 200 lbs he could barely DB benchpress 90's. After years of training I assume.

There is a guy at my gym who took massive steriods in the 80's, mostly Decabolin. He competed in Powerlifting in 1984-1986. He got to a 600 lb squat, 650 deadlift, and 350 bench at ~250 BW. He said that back then most people, even power lifters that he knew, did not know how to train properly or use steroids properly, including himself. He got off teh roids because his blood pressure was sky high.

Nothing to shout about. Last I tried my Z-squat PB is 140kg. Front squat 110. I might start back squatting again when I restart my log.

 

I'm sorry but that story is completely unbelievable, I don't buy it for one second.

 

He looks like a bodyweight-only guy in the "superman" pic. He probably just cut his weight in those 16 weeks.

 

This guy is a fucking tool, and I don't buy this story isn't full of all kinds of whimsical embellishments of things that are "supposed to happen" to steroid users. He's talking about stupid shit like his facial structure changing after a few small injections.

Apparently he has never heard of mercury.

 

Haha. I thought you had to use HGH for years to have that sort of structural changes.

Sounds pretty over the top. How could he lose 13 pounds in one night? where the hell did the weight go, sweating and heat lose? Does not really look that great in the after picture regardless. Oh well even if its all bullshit at least it advocates against steriods.

 

Correct, as long as when you make up a bunch of fucking bullshit and lies it's ok if it supports an ignorant public bias.

 

He looked like shit before and after. What a waste of time and money.

And on a side note, the story sounds like utter bullshit but I'll take his word for it just because I don't know why any one would want to embarrass themselves this bad without it being true.
