Yep, it's another one of those "safe space" stories. At a meeting of the minds--small ones, from the sound of it--this student shook her head and raised her hands in exasperation at the words of one of her interlocutors. The result? They threatened to remove her from the meeting and a formal complaint lodged due to her violating the rules of the "safe space" they have created there, which has rules that there are no "inappropriate hand gestures" allowed. The student is claiming her views regarding Israel may have prompted the response as well, since the same gestures she was censured for were done by students disagreeing with her while she spoke.
Lol. I have to seriously wonder if this is all just a big joke at this point. I don't know how an adult can honestly lodge a complaint against someone because their "safe space" was violated, or threaten to kick them out of a debate. How dare you disagree with me!
