So she's Spawn's rival/archenemy/villain. Got it! I guess I'll have to wait for a twist while reading Guardians. I wonder what are the chances that she actually becomes a Guardian given the fact that they have the rights to her now.

She's not a villain.

If Al Simmons went the way of most Spawn, he would be a villain.

Angela is Heaven's answer to Spawn, she actually hunts Spawn (bad guys).
She's only Simmon's enemy because he is a Spawn.

But, there is always a balancing act between good and evil when dealing with Angels and such.

*I haven't read Spawn in > 10 years, I know a lot has changed since then.
I know there have been many Spawn over the ages, I don't remember if there have been multiple "Angelas".

I always liked Angela as a character. I think Angels as powerful beings are very cool (The Prophecy, Constantine, Legion*). She doesn't fit in the Guardians. I don't even think she fits into Marvel without a better buildup/ backstory.

*disappointing

Ive wanted this statue so badly since I first saw it but I cant justify spending $800 on a comic book statue though.

I've had my eye on this since it was unveiled last year. Still thinking of whether I should just go for it. It would be the most expensive statue I've purchased. Second place would be the Thanos w/Death statue for $600 & Zodd The Immortal from the Berserk anime for $550.

So I started Batman and the Monster Men. Looking forward to more of Doctor Strange, haven't read too much about him. Only real experience I have with him is from Arkham City the video game.

That is pretty epic. Not to be an elbows too pointy kind of guy, but I would have prefered a more stoic expression (as opposed to angry).

Yeah, agreed. His stoic demeanor is what is his way yo intimidate as opposed to 99% of every other Marvel character that grind their teeth real hard, lol.

I'm enjoying batman and the monster men a lot more than I thought I would. It's an interesting little spin off story about events in his first year as batman.

Geoff Johns pretty much turned him into Ryan Reynolds in those issues, no joke

Can we talk about comic book animated films in here too?

In Crisis on Two Earths, wouldn't there be another tangent reality created from Earth Prime where Owlman detonated the bomb rather than the one that happened? Did they ever explain that because the earth would've been blown up anyways

Question: In the current Avengers run, who is Spider-Man right now: Is it Peter or Doc Oc? If he's Doc Oc, do they know it's him?

Its doc oc in peters body. Some people have a suspicion but nothing concrete.

Cool. I know Peter was snarky, but this guy is just a snarky asshole.

Just got all caught up with Infinity. It's legit. Now that's how you create an event! I hope Hickman doesn't pull a Millar with a lackluster ending. I can't believe how big the freaking scale of this entire event. It's essential to read with New Avengers and Avengers. You're missing a huge chunk if you don't read it.

Hey guys, my quest for a Rob Liefeld pic was unsuccessful because I tried looking for him all over Saturday at Alamo City Comic Con, I couldn't find him in the artist blvd. I did get two pieces from Mike Alcantara and I met the legendary Neal Adams! Also saw the Walking Dead Cast, Burt Ward, and a few other celebs

Do you guys think Liefeld would sell more if he changed his style and got better?

Even with his wrong anatomies, he seems to be more popular than 75% of the artists out there (He was already well known before the internet started criticizing him).
