So Infinity has ended in dramatic fashion. Great final issue and the epilogue has opened up some cool possibilities.

Unbelievable that Namor and Panther are still allies after what has gone down between Wakanda and Atlantis.

Also odd that the son of Thanos is actually....Ken Shamrock? \

I just got $140.00 of Invincible trades for $59.34. I got 5 regular trades and compendium 2 which by itself retails for $64.99. Lcs had a 60% off sale today. Yesterday I picked up the Uber hardcover for half price as well.:icon_chee

So Infinity ended by Thanos being locked in a display case. I'm diehard marvel but Marvel Now seemed to have lost steam to me. It also bugs me that their books are so inconsistent as far as writers and artists flipping books so often. Marvel for me was at its peak with Brubaker on Cap, Pak on Hulk and J. Michael Strackzynski/Gillen on Thor. Gillen's run on Journey into Mystery was epic as well. I hardly recognize the Hulk. Remender's Cap is ok and Jason Aaron was killing Thor but the arcs in both books currently have lost something, namely the artists for the first arcs.

I guess that's what I am currently enjoying about Image's books is the consistency with books like Invincible, Prophet, Fatale, Three and Walking Dead.

I would say by the end of Ultimate Collection 6, well, Invincible dips quite seriously in quality, much like the Walking Dead does around issue 80 (if I remember correctly). They all have ups and downs. I say that being a huge Invincible fan though, I love the series, and if anyone drops by here and sees this post check it out, it's awesome.

I am looking forward to Outcast, Kirkman's Exorcism comic, hopefully I can pick up a copy when it comes out (We don't have a shop where I live).

Check out Black Science. Rick Remender's new series on Image.

I know what you mean, but lets see how those comics are going around issue #400+. They're going to lose steam and get rocky eventually. Hopefully they right themselves when that happens.

No. Hopefully, they stop writing long before that happens.

I guess that's the catch 22 of reading books by the big 2. The companies will constantly attempt to revitalize the books by changing writers and artists and starting the series over with #1 issues to keep the books numbers up. I understand it but I think I'm just burnt out on it currently.

Any series that reaches 100 issues is bound to have highs and lows which i'm okay with. Marvel currently has lost me due to the lack of consistency. The writers and artists have changed so much recently the books don't flow and characterizations seem off.

I'm gonna pick it up. Did anyone pick up Brubaker's Velvet? If so do you have any thoughts on it? I thought it was ok but wasn't blown away by it. Ed and Steve Epting reteaming sets the bar really high for me. I'll probably pick up issue 2 on Wednesday.

I guess The Darkness move is moving ahead. Back in the 90s I loved that comic.

So is infinity worth the read? I had the infinity 1 but never picked up an issue after that

Did Marvel.com get rid of their forums? I just went to see what was being said about current stuff and the forum is nowhere to be found.

I'm about 5 issues into Superior Spider-Man, and I'm enjoying it. It's the first Spidey book I've read since Civil War. I've heard so much about it, and the concept sounded interesting, and I've got to say, I do like it so far.
