Oh yeah I forgot to mention, I like when Damian was first introduced and they were fighting the ninja Man Bats.

Also Detective Comics #22 was great. New villain in Gotham. Has the same lifestyle as Bruce Wayne, including the money but he's a cop killer.

Is the new villain Prometheus? The descripton sounds similar to him.

I hear Superman has killed in a new comic. Which one is this?

Yea I'm starting to enjoy superior Spider-Man as well

I wonder how far he will go before Pete comes back

The whole spider island hq is promising and I saw future covers where he actually has extra legs ala iron spidey or well, doc ock

Anyone read The Mice Templar? It's the R rated version of Mouse Guard and it's good. Mouse Guard is good too, but Mice Templar is just so much more hilariously violent. I've only read one issue so far and already an entire mouse village is wiped out by a gang of rats. With heads and limbs getting chopped off and lots of impalement. And for you Hellboy fans who think Mignola is perfection incarnate, he likes it too. So read it!

Gotta love how rats are portrayed like the orcs from LOTR.

Damn The Avengers pre credits scene... I decided to finally purchase Thanos Quest only to find out that it's price has been vastly inflated from 12-20$ to now at least $80 :icon_cry2.

I think his name is Wrath. I think the final showdown will be epic, it concludes in issue 24 or 25.

Got Batman #22. It started out weak and the middle part was great. The ending was cliched and not exciting. The side story was pretty great. It shows how Bruce trained in different parts of the world.

I also bought Lil Gotham 4 but didnt read it yet.

Amazon has Silver Surfer: Rebirth of Thanos for 20ish right now. It includes Thanos Quest. The whole TPB is just great.

I know, but I really wanted the actual issues. I'm almost done with the infinity saga. Still need a the last two issues of Infinity Crusade and Thanos Quest. Infinity Gauntlet and Infinity War are completed though. And I think it's best to get them now before any more info is leaked on the new Avengers movies. I'll be screwed if they release a trailer featuring Thanos or the gems.

If I only had the money ....

So I just finished JLA/Avengers, very fun crossover, tons of characters from both DC and Marvel. Busiek and Perez must of had a lot fun doing this, too bad we haven't seen more crossovers between the big 2 since

I was surprised Hulk and Spider-Man weren't more involved

How Recent is this ?

Anyone keeping up with Superior Spiderman? I thought I would hate SpOck but to be honest, I actually enjoy him. Him completely owning Smythe was pretty cool.

Warner Bros. Announces Their Next Three DC Animated Fims

Justice-League-Trinity-War-Dragonlord.jpg

After an overwhemingly positive response to the premiere screening of Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox at the San Diego Comic-Con, Warner Bros went on to announce the 2014 lineup of animated films. The first being Justice League: War based off of Geoff Johns' New 52 Justice League comic. The second and third films are called Batman: Assault on Arkham and Son of Batman. Assault On Arkham is likely based on Rocksteady's Batman: Arkham video game franchise, while Son of Batman is derived from Grant Morrison's famous introductory story for Damian Wayne.

The position of Justice League: War as the followup to The Flashpoint Paradox is unlikely to be a coincidence. The DC Animated Films have skewed toward adaptations of popular DC Comics story lines, rather than original stories or re-imaginings of characters. With the adaptation of Flashpoint on the table, it's a prime opportunity for the DC Animated Original Movies to start building some form of a continuous narrative, rather than being completely stand-alone. Two Justice League projects in a row certainly seem to support the idea that Warner Bros. Animation is at least considering the possibility of a united Animated universe in the same way it's rumored Warners wants to craft a DC Cinematic Universe.

Next DC Animated Films: Justice League War, Batman: Assault on Arkham, Son of Batman
