Comedian's who aren't funny

Which ones have you seen but didn't like?

Without knowing that I'd recommend Patrice O'Neal and Dave Attell to anyone.

Both terrible. I enjoy comedy that can create a story in the viewers own mind while listening.. Not just random shit that doesn't go anywhere and then skips to the next "joke"

Jim Gaffigan, Brian Regan and Patton Oswalt.

In a series of posts I've watched

Bill Burr, Patrice O'Neal, Dave Attel, Jim Gaffigan, and Patton Oswalt get hated on

lolwut?

Bill Burr. I have no idea why guys cling to his nuts. His standup is shit and he says the word "fuck" 10 times a minute to distract you from it.

Louis CK ... His standup is great and he can paint a picture with his fucked up stories and scenarios. ...
I find this odd, seeing's how Burr can be described the same way you describe Louis. I find his point-making pretty damn droll, but what won me over is his evisceration of Philly after they booed other comedians off the stage.

Watch how Patrice opens this show:

Bear in mind he likes to openly bring the crowd down and then back up as a testament to his own ability to make a crowd laugh. What I find unbelievable is how easily he segued into the jokes. Seamless transition to a very, very strong joke that required audience participation as well.

Every good comedian that ever existed has been mentioned in here.

Pryor was a can. All I've ever seen from him is just dropping the N-bomb and talking about being explosive --> rinse, repeat.

I'm from Philly and that rant was epic.

For me Patrice is about as good as you can get in stand up.

RIP

Patrice O'Neal was hilarious. That was a big loss to the comedy world.

Most female comedians, they have to be half as good as the male ones to get on the air.

Yup I agree with you. Whoopi Goldberg was never funny, and neither was Roseanne. About the only good female standup back in the day was Ellen Degeneres, but then she really doesn't count as a woman now does she?

In recent years there's been a few more funny ones though. Sarah Silverman, Amy Shumer.... aaaand that's about it LOL

Try Tig Notaro out shes the only female comedian I actually find damn funny.

Tig's cancer show was funny but I don't really like her regular standup that much. She reeeeeeaally milks every joke for every last laugh and it kind of slows down the show and kills the energy

lol @ you criticizing Patrice with this post. You do not know what you are talking about, and it's funny. Keep going.

I was just scoping out some clips. I love her. She looks like she's played by Jim Carrey sometimes.

Another great female comedian is Kathleen Madigan; and I've been really liking Debbie Gutierrez lately.

I haven't seen Woody Allen mentioned. He rarely made me laugh (his movies are a different story), but he's often mentioned as one of the greats.
