Comedian's who aren't funny

Jesus, some people here have horrible comedic tastes... I've seen Pryor, Carlin, Stanhope, Seinfeld, Kinnison, Mac, Gervais and Louis CK mentioned as "Not Funny"... all of which are without question in the top 100 greatest comics ever, most near the top to boot. Although, 49 pages and nobody mentioned Bill Hicks as "Not funny" so there is at least some hope for humanity.

As far as Comedians that I don't find funny:

Dane Cook: He doesn't really have jokes, just stories. Some of them are funny, but overall his material is lifted or weak.

All the "Kings of Comedy" except Bernie Mac: Cater to the black crowd WAY to hard, make jokes at the expense of white people with stupid actions/voices and pretty much recycle each others jokes.

All the "Blue Collar Comedy tour" except Ron White: Same as above, but catering instead to the redneck white trash crowd.

Carlos Mencia, Gabriel Iglesias, George Lopez: Same as above 2, but catering to Hispanics and lifting jokes from funnier comedians.

Jeff Dunham: Puppets aren't funny, neither is he.

Tracy Morgan: His standup is horrible, but he's pretty funny in 30 rock as someone actually funny (Tina Fey) is writing his lines.

Bill Hicks was not funny. He was interesting and smart, but he was a philosopher who communicated by yelling. Louis CK is what Bill Hicks wishes he was.

? He didn't yell much. I can think of only a few times he yelled (play from your heart, hitler had the right idea, and "living god")... Perhaps you are mistaking him for Sam Kinison who yelled all the time.
 
Bill Burr. I have no idea why guys cling to his nuts. His standup is shit and he says the word "fuck" 10 times a minute to distract you from it.
 
Louis CK is probably the best living comedian alive today. His standup is great and he can paint a picture with his fucked up stories and scenarios. It's a plus that he also has a great show on television that doesn't delve into the more vulgar side of his nature..

Any "comedian" with a special on comedy central isn't worth shit.

Hicks, Pryor, and Carlin will always be the greats
 
I know gazillions of people have already said this but I gotta say Stanhope. I like Stanhope but his material really comes across as a rant rather than being funny. Nothing wrong w/ that, I still watch him because he's entertaining and I prefer listening to him over 90% of what people would classify 'stand-up comic.'

I can think of another instance where he was going nuts and essentially yelling: the Jay Leno Doritos rant. Sounded like he was going to have a stroke during that one :icon_lol:

Yea ok, I see what you did. But, No. I only enjoyed Louis CK ( Who I already mentioned ) and Ron White.

Maybe my sense of humor is different than yours.

Because you made a statement based off of one or two comedians you saw.

I could see you not liking some of them but not all.

Which ones have you seen but didn't like?

Without knowing that I'd recommend Patrice O'Neal and Dave Attell to anyone.

Jerry Seinfeld. I like the show Seinfeld but those bits of his stand-up at the beginning and end are painful to watch.
