Comedian's who aren't funny

Lisa Lampanelli is horrible.

George Lopez is pretty bad with his constant pandering to Latino audiences.

John(Jim ?) Belushi......not the dead one ....the one who you wish was dead ........*rimshot*

Conan O Brian is pretty meh too.

Dana Carvey.

Dude...

I fucking love Dana Carvey

I've laughed myself into exhaustion listening to Norm's standup.

I think a lot of this thread are kids who saw a clip of someone on Comedy Central, saw they were heralded as great comics, and decided that they weren't funny.

Norm's funny as fuck.

I've never seen Kenan Thompson do standup but I think he's actually pretty funny on SNL. Sure, he has his annoying black characters but before Jay Pharoah got there he was pretty much the only black guy SNL had (Since Thompson has been there, which was 2003) so he had to do them.

how the fuck Kenan ended up surpassing Kel I may never know. Kel had the obvious talent, way more funnier, athletic, and explosive. Guess he just didn't have the work ethnic last time I heard about him he was in some shitty Like Mike sequel.

Didn't want to read the whole thread, but I'd like to humbly nominate Larry the Cable Guy.

these things are opinions. but people always think their opinions are facts

Da' fuck?

Dennis Miller was hilarious before he went right wing christian. Still kind of funny but I could do without the Faux news slant.

That would have made me laugh, except you prefaced it with an ebonics expression and username. Ebonics is very unfunny.

Miller is not a right wing Christian. He's a very confused individual who thinks he's a libertarian while supporting Herman Cain and then Romney in the last election cycle. He's also very confused if he thinks he's a liberty loving Christian if he supports abortion while not believing in it.

Dane Cook
Carlos Mencia
Joe Rogan
Steve Harvey
Cendric The Entertainer.

Cosby is one of the true greats. He's at the top of just about every comic's list, and he's recognized by any comedy nerd as one of the very best. That's a hell of a standard. Mencia had more fame than his talent suggested, but that's the standard now. It doesn't make him "utterly inept" or "talentless". He makes people laugh and that's why he's famous- he worked for what he has and made the decisions which got him there. He's playing to idiots, and I won't argue against that. He's not great. But he's far from terrible. When you judge a guy like him, or Jeff Dunham, or Dane Cook, or the Blue Collar guys, or anyone else who made insane money off of morons, then yeah, none of them are great. Just good comics who worked hard and lived poor for at least a decade, and got lucky when dumbo the average american decided that they liked comedy again. Cool Internet People are confusing good comedy with the disproportionate success of the guys who cash in on idiots.

I wouldn't really put him in the same category as Dane and Jeff who are at least original. I know Dane stole jokes but the sheer number of people complaining about Mencia is ridiculous, he's like of a comedy parasite. When Joe confronted him he said "You're not a comedian, you're a good performer", he was half right.

I'm sure you're right that he worked hard but a big part of the work is coming up with material.

Edit: If he doesn't want to be compared to Cosby maybe he shouldn't tell his jokes.

What's funny is that he's moderate as fuck.
Socially liberal, fiscally conservative.

Good for him.

Either way, it has nothing to do with how funny he is, and he's hilarious as fuck. Adam could rant about guitar strings and make it better than most people's entire routine.

The proof is in the yogurt

Norm is brilliant; I could watch youtube clips of him on Conan all day
