The first response in a thread about "divisiveness" just a few hours ago.

I could give a shit who nike chooses to endorse their stuff. I've never bought anything based on celebrity endorsements anyway, but it does seem like an odd choice, and quite a "divisive" one at that. Just make a goddamn good shoe and I'll buy it when I need new shoes.

oh, choosing him was explicitly "divisive" on Nike's part. They want to send a clear message that they dont want Ripskaters wearing their brand and are quite happy to lose them as customers. Believe me, it won't negatively effect their bottom line at all and history will look upon this decision favorably. It's ridiculous how corporations are still pandering to these archaic bigots when they are a shrinking segment of the population.

Nike is also over priced. I find it funny when athletes get their own Nike shoe line, they sell it for like $200-400. Like any normal person can afford that. Further proof athletes are out of touch with reality.

Oh yeah, history books for centuries to come will talk all about Nike's choice of a benchwarmer as their spokesman based on false information and propaganda. Becoming SJWs has gone great for ESPN.
