Colby has 5/6 rounds over Marty

It doesn't mean much but I was impressed with how he came back in the second fight. People hate him but Colby is very tough
And it was a tie going into the 5th in the first bout. I mean, we all know Usman took over that 5th, but still, being tied 4 rounds in is oft overlooked.

As stupid as this OP is, the point is legit - Colby did better against Usman than anyone else has, and he may very well be the 2nd best fighter in his division.

I think my point is it doesn't matter, because he lost.
Who cares how many rounds were won in 2 losses?

Your point is irrelevant.

The OP asked how many rounds Colby won against Usman.

I gave my answer.

So to answer your question...the OP cares.

Chael wouldve died before Anderson did, and I suspect the same could be said for Covington against Usman. Colby got saved by the bell at the end of round 2 in the 2nd fight, and the referee intervened when Usmans fist broke his jaw in their initial match-up

They are approaching the fight with the given set of rules, not 'whoever gets a hold can theoretically kill the other person.' Chael beat the ever loving shit out of Anderson, including multiple 10-8 rounds on the score cards, for nearly a full 25 minute fight.

That is not commensurate with Colby marginally out pointing Usman in a few rounds, but taking a brutal beating and knockdowns in others.

No they don't lol

Most peoples were cheering for Colby in the crowd and most peoples were showing respect for Colby after the fight.

They say that Usman is boring, cringe and fake while they say that Colby is hilarious and a warrior lol.

And according to the rules both Colby and Chael were awarded the big fat losses they deserved. Chael statistically beat Anderson for 24 minutes and came close to finishing...never. If his life wasn't in danger he wouldn't have tapped. Who was the more effective fighter?

My point is the same with Colby. He performed admirably. Perhaps he had a statistical edge, landing more overall strikes than Usman. However, none of those strikes came close to ending the fight. On the opposite end, Usman had a near finish, or an actual finish, both times. So, when you approach it as a fight with rules and sanctions, the right guys won. And if you think about it as a fight for your life...same fucking thing.

Are you autistic? They fought under specific rules. The only reason Sonnen got up off Anderson on multiple 10-8 rounds is because the bell rang and he was instructed to. Otherwise he could have sat on him and punched him in the head as long as he liked.

Or if there were no rules, just gouged his eyes out.

You are honestly too stupid to post on Sherdog, and that says a lot.

No shit. Colby marginally out pointed Usman in a few rounds and got the dogshit beaten out him in in the rest. Sonnen dominated Anderson for 90% of their fight including multiple 10-8 rounds. There is nothing comparative about those two performances.

the whole trump/heel thing is blinding guys to the fact that colby hurt usman to the body bad in both fights and he took over in the second half of the rematch.

Colby has probably 2 rounds in each fight so 4 total. No doubt he was more competitive than Masvidal.
no because colby said he won 6

the whole trump/heel thing is the only reason he has fans.

i thought he was solid af the way he beat stun gun, but the schtick is weaksauce imo, cant believe anyone likes his gimmick
