I can tell you that I care far more about the 20% of voters who consistently refuse to back either candidate right now, then I do the 5 point swings back and forth.

The 40% each both Clinton and Trump have right now, aren't going to change. It is this 20% that hasn't chosen sides that will decide this election.

Well, he's already lost The Apprentice and Miss America no long has a network deal because of him. He had another deal fall through because of his comments on Mexico, but I forget what that was.

He's spent more of his own money than he wanted to and he may have opened himself up for several different criminal investigations. Using Trump Foundation charitable proceeds to buy expensive items for himself, soliciting foreign leaders for money, using private employees for his campaign... probably more that I can't think of.

Yeah, I'm just going to go out on a limb here and predict that the billionaire business mogul turned republican nominee, will be just fine after the election, win or lose. An election campaign that gave his brand more publicity than any ad campaign, or reality show could ever hope to do.

This election is eye opening. Watching liberals and democrats completely besmirch themselves in such a way that can be amusing one day and sad the next. These people have sacrificed all of their liberal tenets and morals all in an effort to stop Trump.

Remember when the DNC got caught red handed rigging the primary, colluding with the media, and planning racial and religious attacks on their own candidates? No? Well good because libs don't either.

They have embraced violence and mistreatment against women. Remember when it became clear that Bill Cos-, I mean Clinton, was a serial sexual abuser and womanizer? Remember when Hillary smeared, defamed, and denied justice to a 12 year girl who had been brutally raped all in an effort to protect the rapist...she knew was guilty?

It's kind of scary man...libs are selling their souls this election.

Since this is a rare semi-sincere TCK post, I don't mind addressing a small part of it.

You're painting liberals too broadly on corporatism. In general (and this is not even true across the board, actually), liberals are fine with corporations but do not want to sink the corporate tax rate unless it's to incentivize specific things like fuel efficiency. The anti-corporate left is no small ideological faction, but they are typically younger and don't vote as much or pay as many taxes. In short, not every liberal is a kid from Portland & Seattle.

There's a split on money in politics, too. While Citizens United seems to invite corruption on the surface, it's only the third biggest factor of its kind in this election, the other two being populism and district extremism. Those factors have been far more influential in both national and local politics. And let's not forget Obama took plenty of corporate money, and the majority of the voting left didn't care in '08 or in '12. Not sure why you'd want voters to change their minds all of a sudden in 2016.

Wikileaks got a tremendous amount of press with the most ridiculous standardized headline ("The DNC rigged the election for Clinton") that was truly some of the most trumped up bullshit I've seen this campaign season. Expect the rest to show something similar in the next few days. The established equilibrium was Clinton with a clear lead in the 5-8 range and as high as 10-12. That had been the trend for months until the conventions.
Trump jumped due to convention bounce, FBI report, and a little bit of police attacks and Nice terrorism.

The trend should be the same until the debates. A big wikileaks dump or terror attack would help Trump, obviously.
