Movies Cliffhanger 2 - Sylvester Stallone returning!

Gabe Walker will be riding a modified Hoveround mobility scooter in this one. It can clip right into the ropes and zip right across or even scale vertically.

He's also going to be carrying one of these grabber tools just in case any new potential "reach up" issues arise.

it's an overall fun action movie, not one of the greats like Die Hard or Predator imo. highlights are John Lithgow doing a great job as a villain, and the unique setting of being on a mountain rockclimbing and what not.

I think the sequel should just go full 'Merica and have Stallone protecting some bald eagle nests against Chinese spy balloons
And this dude
latest

If you’re watching a movie from 1985-1999 and he’s in it then it’s gonna be fun

It wasn't a bad flick. It was huge at the time. I think they nicknamed it 'Die hard on a mountain' or something.
Still worth a watch.

A sequel though? Now?

Doing all these sequels is akin to digging up your favourite grandfather and doing a 'weekend at Bernies' because you can't be arsed to form relationships with new people.

He is old. He is starting to use fake weights for his instagram.

Sure hes old, but he still looks pretty damn good for a super old dude. Drugs or not, how many guys you know or seen in their mid 70s look like him?

I mean ya, its odd still seeing these guys in action type roles, but stallone is one of the rare few I can still be semi ok with in those roles.

Some of it is movie magic and photoshop. I love the guy but I can accept he is old.

He can still tear your limbs off with his bare hands bra. Old man Stallone is not your typical geriatric.
maybe the average person he could, probably not me though. But I won't argue.

I don't appreciate this. I hope Stallone pretends he's 20 until the day he dies. I love it.

I love stallone too but aging happens to all of us. Clint Eastwood tapered down on the action stuff as he aged, and his roles weren't even all that physical. He just gradually, ever so gradually just accepted his physical decline and also his mental maturity. If you follow his films, he went 180 degrees from the guy conservative Reagan was quoting (make my day) to "Cry Macho".

Stallone has more to offer than an Arnold, he's a very good actor and he's creative. he doesn't have to rely on the physical stuff.

Nah Clint Eastwood fucked me up when I was a kid. He did this movie where he was bathing with this other lady. He must have at least 60 years old then.

I do agree Stallone is much better than Arnold. He is capable of doing more and succeeded as well in terms of doing more.

wonder which movie that was, he was in his sixties when he did unforgiven. He bought the script and waited to age more for the role. That was, well, maybe the first of his roles where he started showing ambivalence to violence and it went from there, not everyone like the change but I love everything eastwood does. He is actually saying he'll retire after his next film, he's had a run like no other. I always thought he was a much better filmaker than an actor but as I've gotten older, I can see he wasn't as bad an actor as I used to think, just super minimalist.
