Movies Cliffhanger 2 - Sylvester Stallone returning!

I saw a picture of his mom at 91 and she looked like what Carrot Top looked like in his mid 40s.

Steroids are certainly dangerous, but can be used in much much safer ways to mitigate a lot of the risk. Steroid ABUSE, is extremely dangerous.

I know Sly seems to be extremely dedicated in his diet and working out routines, but some of the physiques he has achieved, particularly at the age he did it, makes me wonder to what extent did he push the envelope?
In theory he would have had the budget and connections to have his blood work and health closely monitored. If he chose to do so.

Ya, she looked like carrot top or the joker but she was alive. I hope sly did use caution but staying relevant is all some of those people care about. Even young people are dying these days trying to entertain their online crowd.

Heat 2, Cliffhanger 2, point break reboot, total recall reboot, on and on and on… Why not just go ahead and commit to rehashing anything that made a studio money from 85-99 and just get it over with.

I did watch the last Rambo flick though, not gonna lie.

Jokes aside, she looked to be in pretty amazing physical health for her age.

Out and about mingling at parties is pretty amazing for someone in their 90s.

I have a real estate client/family friend who sold her home at age 97. In amazing condition, no joke she is probably healthier and better quality of than the average American 20 years younger than her.

I asked her her secret, she said have a few drinks every day. Her only complaint about her assisted living facility is that the bar is only open for happy hour 3 days a week.

God bless the fortune folks who can maintain their health that long.

Sequels > Reboots. I don't really care much for reboots (usually) but a straight up legit sequel, I'm always down for. I'll definitely give Heat 2 and Cliffhanger 2 a chance. Especially knowing who's behind them. (I think we're relatively safe from woke garbage with Michael Mann and Sly in charge)

It was probably different when it first came out, but I watched it for the first time maybe two years ago.

I thought it was crap.
Yep jmo one of the worst he ever made. Best parts were when Wolfgang Guellich climbed some stunt double scenes free solo and Sly couldn't believe it. The world's best climber for quite some time.

She’s going to be reprising her role as well..

they were quite the couple in '93.

Man you guys are being rough on Cliffhanger. Would easily be a top five movie for every other contemporary action star but Arnold, probably top three for most.

Great action movie; Lithgow play villains incredibly well. His voice and mannerism just lead to believing he is a criminal mastermind. Also plays unassuming well considering he's legit 6'4 with a broad build

If he chose to do so.

AAS usage can be extremely beneficial as you age. Abuse, heavily reliance on 19Nors, and orals can be very problematic. Sly is 100% on medically supervised administration of test, primo and hgh.

Regardless, the key is frequent blood work to gage levels and adjust. So many gearheads ignore that aspect which A. puts them at risk, and B. Reduces the effectiveness of their cycles

I guess I should watch the first one.

It's probably partially in the genes, his mom lived to almost a hundred I think. i really don't think the roids are healthy and he's used them plenty in his life.

If he’s 76 and still able to get around he’s doing better than %99 of people, who gives a shit what he’s taking.

If he dies of steroid abuse at 85 was he wrong to take them?

So what's the plot?

His family wants him to move because of the huge flight of stairs in his current home but he refuses and in end walks up the flight of stairs?

Underrated last gasp of the 80's/90's action movie template.

Shit was great, but I imagine this idea spawned from a drunken night with writers...

"Man, that shit was epic. Could you imagine if it was in IMAX, man?"

"....Yes, yes I could. I'll be right back!"

Brought this movie up recently with friends who havent seen. It's been forever since I have seen so dont remember. Mixed bag reactions, worth watching?

“It’s better than sex”

I still remember 12 year old me hearing this line from the movie and being like “hell no, there’s no way, surely not”
