Opinion China did it right.

Man, you really are a self righteous and insulting little prick when you want to be.
If you pay attention, at some point, leftists will always tell you how smart they think they are. Its pathetic, really.

But that's not what I did. I merely showed that the information shared by this Chinese man, aside from the lies by omission about China's own problems, are viewpoints that have been brought forth by many American scholars through their own thinking and not influenced by Chinese propaganda.

This is just objectively true and anyone trying to argue against it is full of s***.

I mean you might as well just insult me instead of respond to my actual positions right??.

lol.
I just can't help but notice how flippantly you respond to people who don't share your positions on many subjects, and you come off as arrogant, self righteous, and quite frankly, not nearly as educated as you would have us believe. Your grammar and spelling alone tell me most of what I need to know, you are the definition of a pseudo-intellectual.

"Aside form the lies and omissions..."

Holy shit.

Welcome to propaganda 101.

Its one thing if you want to be critical of the US. Thats cool, like all countries, there's plenty of shit to say. When you do it after watching a chinese propaganda video and then suddenly start siding with the propagandist, you are a victim of propaganda. There's no real middle ground there. You are literally siding with China.

I didn't do it after watching this Chinese propaganda. That's my whole entire argument. My argument is that the points he shared I shared by many citizens and scholars who didn't learn it from China.....

And why would you mock me telling saying that the Chinese guy was lying and omitting facts about China?? That should support your position.....

For f***** sake man, I think you don't even understand my position.

Did you catch what he said in an attempt to shut me down?

You don't know enough about political theory to discuss it and that's coming from me. Someone who knows next to nothing.
If you admit you know next to nothing, then by your own logic, you're not qualified to judge my knowledge either.

You won't read this and then you'll respond with something that contradicts what I'm saying.

I use voice to text and I just don't care how people perceive me... if they're looking for a reason they can have it.

And when I flippantly respond to people it's because they're being disingenuous liars and I don't have the time to bother with them.

The argument that any criticism of the states comes from Chinese propaganda is itself blatant and stupid propaganda.

Have any of these people heard of Richard Wolff or Noam Chomsky or Chris Hedges or an entire litany of other scholars who've made the same criticisms, but who came to it by observing the United States of America?

I'm not even arguing that they're right. I agree with them, but I'm not interested in arguing that.
But let's don't pretend that criticism of the United States of America is always Chinese propaganda.

Only a stupid person could believe it.

I can know that there are experts in the field who disagree with your position without knowing how to argue those positions. I can even have read those positions without considering myself qualified to debate on those matters.

My sticking point is that to pretend that that Chinese man's positions are propaganda is possibly disingenuous... but what I asked was, is it propaganda if an American citizen comes to the same conclusions by observing America?

And the answer to that is no and anyone trying to pretend otherwise are themselves engaging in propaganda.

You spend so much time posting, yet you don't care how people perceive your posts? That's unlikely. And your flippant responses are because you don't have time to bother with them, yet you will ALWAYS respond to their posts when they quote you? That one debunks itself.

Lastly, I haven't seen anyone in here arguing that criticism of the USA is always Chinese propaganda. You tend to make up these narratives in your own mind and go about posting as if that's what's going on, regardless of any mitigating factors.

Well you need to go back and read the thread again then because I've made it very clear that that's my position and that's exactly what I've been attacked for.

Or people have tried to pretend my position is something else and then tried to draw me into a debate on their terms that I'm uninterested in.

As to the voice to text. I just don't care how you perceive it.

The main point of the video was that America needs a revolution. Setting his other points aside, do you agree with that?

First concede that my argument that I originally made is not stupid or ignorant and that there are many scholars who hold the same position that this Chinese man holds who came to that conclusion through the study of the United States and not through Chinese propaganda.

This is my only position that I'm stuck on in this thread and it's hilarious how many people are trying to pretend otherwise or argue that any criticism of the states that uses the same concepts as this Chinese man came from China.

In order for propaganda to be propaganda, a person has to be influenced by an outside source to come to their conclusions.
I can’t do that, because I never claimed your arguments were stupid or ignorant. I challenged that statement because people can absorb propaganda without realizing it. They might believe they reached a conclusion independently, but the information they relied on could very well have been shaped by propaganda. That said, it’s possible I misinterpreted your point—or perhaps it just wasn’t clearly worded.

Okay, so we can move forward now that you have conceded that it's not propaganda just because someone holds the same views and that there are many, many American scholars who argue all of the exact same points and who came to it through their own reason and logic.

This was my only sticking point in this thread.

As to the revolution... I don't know.... I'm undecided. We're in the midst of a rapist criminal liar and bully and authoritarian fascistic dictator trying to take over the country.... I don't know what the solution is, but a non-violent revolution may be the only way forward.

But even before the rapist Trump took office, I thought we already were in deep trouble in this country because both parties seem to have abandoned the American people.

Consider running for office, whether local or higher, and help shape the policies that matter. One voice can spark real change. Step up and be the force behind the future you want to see.

I can respect that but it seems like a lot of people who say this (on my "side" as well) only seem to think so when the opposing political party is in power.

I think the problem and the solution lies deeper than political, so I'm working on a different front.

America blaming china is hilarious.

This guy has a point.

He’s not wrong and trump is simply trying to right the wrongs of the past. It may be too little too late, no one can say for sure, but we can continue to pad the pockets of the corporations that got us here or try to reverse course, which is the point of the tariffs.

On a related topic is immigration, we got sold out for decades and people want that change for similar reasons.

Richard Wolff, Noam Chomsky, and Chris Hedges are not scholars of Chinese politics, history, or economy. Wolff is a Marxist economist, Noam Chomsky is a linguist, and Chris Hedges is a left wing minister and journalist. They are all far left, anti-American, propagandists not experts on China.
