What is Khamzat's path to become the P4P number one?

"You know, we are just seeing how it's going now. We take this as it's coming, but of course, there will be a time when we're gonna be forced to change division.
Khamzat has a dream to become a two division champ, even three divisions. And the focus now is to go through all that. And right now, the fight between Nassourdine Imavov
and Caio Borralho just happened. I spent the whole night watching and already started to study the guys, of course. And I believe that we're gonna defend the belt. That's first
and then we're gonna see how the other divisions are gonna end up, because Ankalaev is fighting with Pereira soon and at 77 Islam and Jack is also fighting, so we're gonna
take it as it comes. But the idea is to get multiple belts for sure."

If RDR gets a finish over Fluffy, do you think he jumps the line or do you think Imavov already bagged the title shot?

"You know, that's very hard to say exactly how it goes, because sometimes the UFC can play different roles and choose different fighters so. So far, what we are planning
to do now, it is that we follow the ranking. Imavov had already been promised that the winner of their fight would be fighting for the belt so... But also, we're not gonna ignore
that other fight that is happening. If the UFC thinks that it's a better move to do, we can't do anything about having focused on the wrong guy. Then just get ready and prepare
ourselves to fight anyone that will show up."

If Hernandez wins I hope they give it to him next, that will be nine wins in a row. Maybe Imavov could fight DDP I mean someone’s gotta get shafted.

Khamzat has fought on average once per year since his debut in 2020. Let's just hope he can defend his title at least once in the next 6 months before making grand plans about multiple belts and whatnot

Would be sort of crazy if he could drop to 170, then also grab the belt at 205 still. I don't think he's perma locked out of WW like most people did, I think he was just sloppy for the Diaz fight. Still if you're talking 2 different weight classes that's a long time to cut his frame back to WW, and then gaining weight for LHW. Hope RDR/Fluffy winner is unscathed and wants to fight soon so we can see it happen in our lifetimes.

Really, after one defence, Sherdog will be outraged, right ?
yeah i wouldnt be happy if Khamzat just made 1 defense then dipped. should make at least 3 defenses of the MW title before jumping up to LHW. it just stalls both divisions otherwise.

I wish more fighters realized that just having 3+ consecutive title defenses is more impressive than division hopping.

Let's see if he can consistently make it to the cage before going on about a title defense and super fights.

If Pereria wins he will go straight to heavyweight barring a Bones WH1 fight at LHW.

IF Ank wins he will fight Ulberg then also go to HW.

Neither wants to fight the Titanium blanket.

Mak if he beats JDM has a slew of WW contenders waiting - sane with JDM. THE FIGHT COULD HAPPEN.......... in late......... 2027!

Best chance for a Khamzat superfight is Ank and thats low unless Khamzat wants to be a HW. However if Ank wins against Pereria and dominates Ulberg after he might do it to separate him self n be the clear #2 lhw ever.
Pereria at this stage wants no part in a indomitable blanket - unless he loses to Ank and wants go down to MW for 1 last hurrah.

Mak - has a loaded division n knows better .

Honestly, I wouldn't care if hazmat went up to LHW sooner than later. The Ank fight intrigues me.
The battle of wall-and-stall vs. lay-and-pray intrigues you? Can Ank shove Khamzat up against the cage and hold him there for five minutes at a time or will Khamzat take Ank down and hold him there for five minutes at a time? Tune in to find out!

Taking chances is for earning title shots, not for fighting title fights. If this fight ever happens, expect no chances to be taken.

It’s better if they have to vacate to move up. At least there’s more risk involved. However, I don’t necessarily like it meaning an instant title shot. 1 defense shouldn’t be enough to warrant that.

I'm good with Imavov or Hernandez/RDR winner. They all 3 have good arguments to get the next crack at the title.

multiple belts are fine but these guys need to clean out their divisions before moving up like the OG guys. the sport is bullshit these days, more style than substance.
