War Wagon Chimaev is gonna show DDP that there is levels to this

I think it's telling that even the pros and coaches who pick DDP all say he'll have to "survive" the first two rounds then win rounds 3-5.

That being said, I would not be shocked if DDP does another flying guard pull and wins via causing a knee injury.

He's done it before, he can do it again.

I think DDP is a hard out for anyone, Khamzat included. I dont think this is going to be a cake walk for either guy and I question Khamzat being able to handle DDP's size advantage.

Either way, should be a good fight. If it doesnt go Khamzat's way, maybe it will send him back to 170. I think he would do a lot better in that weight class.

How many top ten fighters has Khamzat beat at 185lbs vs how many has DDP beat at 185 lbs?
A lot of people like to conveniently ignore this lol. I'm surprised there isn't more of an outcry of for Chimaev getting an undeserved title shot, but it'll be fun to see DDP run through him.

I do hope that the hype train can get back on its tracks, there has been a loss of steam, and I am looking forward for a hype machine I can hop on.

certainly going to be an electrifying round one win or lose.
If DDP wins he'll have a pretty crazy resume at 185. Not sure why that's not a hype train you can get on as he puts himself into GOAT 185er contention.

Step 1 Post from real account
Step 2 If this is your real account don't make threads

He has beaten as many top ten fighters as he has fought.

We have to work with limited information here.

Dricus has beaten one wrestler (old Brunson, competitive fight), Khamzat has beaten one top MW (Whittaker, not competitive).

I see no betting slip Mr. White belt.
Can you post one to back up such certainty?

I have 2 parlays closing with Chimaev and a straight play on him. They're actual paper bet slips from the casino where I'm from and I'm currently in the Bahamas so can't post.

I agree with TS. I think Chimaev shows what elite grappling and finishing ability is here. That said, I'll be watching closely and ready to live bet DDP if it looks different than how I see it going. I'm confident in my read, but only fools don't process things as they happen and adjust if it's called for.

And I agree with you. I have chosen Khamzat in like three threads so far, but I’m not starting threads on a white belt alt account pretending it will be a walk in the park.
Good luck with your parlays sherbro!

I'm sorry by guy but leon did not look great against anyone. Usman dominated him in the first fight before he pulled a win out of his ass. Nate rocked him and almost finished him in the last round and could have if he wanted, but nate doesn't care enough. He had a competitive fight with colby which is just a bad look these days.

you say every step of the way khamzat has been doubted..... lol so has dricus.
There was a group here who would talk up Leon as great TDD, sharp striker, and say he's so underrated. I thought he was straight trash before it was popular here, but I suppose Leon always had haters for his low output style.

That's a good point about DDP, after that Brunson fight I thought he pulled it out of his ass and lucky Brunson gassed. Thought he was stupid for wanting to go against Whittaker. I sort of had DDP/Strickland 50/50 leading up to their first match, but after that favored DDP. Yeah guess I doubted DDP his whole run besides the Strickland rematch which I skipped that card I didn't care.

I've been waiting for Khamzat to get a title shot since 2020, and never doubted him since his 2nd fight, and now we're finally so close. I guess I'm speaking from the stances I've taken and who I've argued against here. DDP has proven me wrong so many times, but I also think Khamzat is so damn good.

Thanks my man! I live in the Midwest and met a guy here in the Bahamas who has a buddy who works for the UFC. He's working on getting me tickets for the Chicago card. Super cool guy, he's not a diehard UFC fan but no lie he knows Gaethje well enough that we did a FaceTime with him a couple nights ago! Gaethje super cool guy, talked for a couple minutes.

47-47 draw. Khamzat 10-8 in round 1, squeaks out round 2, then 10-9 DDP in each of the remaining rounds.

No, I'm not really making that prediction, but I'd guess it's a lot more likely than most people realize, and if I were a betting man looking for a longshot I'd place some money there.

Might throw 20 on a draw just to respect you
