I don't understand the mentality of people that live in these places. You can get a minimum wage job and move into a safe area with roommates. How do people stay in places like this and then complain about the crime around them? Just move.

This shit doesn't exist in third world countries that enforce the law. I was travelling overseas recently and the police had the power to randomly drug test people on the street. You test positive, you go to jail. That would never fly in the US. It would instantly clean up these dangerous areas within a week though.

The US has more people in jail than any country in the world. You need less reasons to cram people into the criminal factory that are US prisons. The brutal fact is that the gov just doesnt care enough to solve these problems. Theyd rather make shit up about how their 600 billion dollar defense budget is underfunded.
