Efforts to spay and neuter animals is worthwhile. Euthanizing programs that do it humanely is needed imo. It would save a lot of animal suffering.

Do you think this will have a negative effect on people bringing one home from the shelter? Will this lead to more wild cats ? Will more cats ultimately end up put to sleep because of this ?

Right I am and I'm speculating that this is going to have unintended consequences, like when Republicans fuck with abortion without a plan for what comes next. I also think this might have unintended consequences for other animals besides cats as well.

I'm pretty sure there's Lotta folks out there who don't want a half feral cat tearing their house up and I'm pretty sure more effective predators outdoors for those folks who let the cat out isn't going to be great for birds and lizards and such.

Hard choices in life have to be made. Is it more human to watch litter after litter of kittens starving and being abused or is it more human to stop the proliferation? when i was in Philippines the dogs look like lions they have scars all over their faces from fighting... the way the dogs coexist with the people is wild... not a bad life to be a stray fucking and fighting all day

There are a lot of shitty people and they make bad animal owners. I usually have 1-2 inside cats and an outlaw outside cat that kills mice and voles and such. If you walk into a house and smell cat piss it's because they either haven't trained them right or they are too lazy to change the litter box. Trash people have trash houses. If I go into someone's home and smell cat piss I also see dishes piled up and a generally disheveled place. Didn't mean to jumo your shit on it, it just chaps my ass when people say "I hate cats". How in the fuck can you hate an animal?
