- Fined 200k in the 90's for having black dealers removed from the floor when high rollers were around
- Former black employee claimed he and other black employees were made to leave the floor when Trump and Ivana were around in the 80's.

- In 96, he was sued again after promising to hire a certain percentage of minorities for a casino in Michigan and then not doing so (it was one of the stipulations that gained him the vote toopen the casino in the first place) .
- Again in the 90's he tried to open a casino in Connecticut, but was refused because it would compete with an Indian Casino nearby. In a hearing to the subcommittee, he said it wasn't fair, because they didn't "look like Indians".
