I agree but when theyve become radicalized to the point they throw tantrums at polite, civil disagreement in an academic setting I'm kind of at a loss.

You can't really have a dialogue with someone that has already decided that anyone that disagrees with them is automatically evil and anything they say can be disregarded.

Kirk was going to their turf to engage in debate with them and it got him murdered and people are celebrating it like it's just. And all he ever did was express ideas people don't like.
