Changed my opinion on O'Malley

Agreed with OP, would you rather have someone that looks like Sean but act more normal or someone that looks more normal but acts like that new wannabe Conor dude that fought Magny?

O'Malley was never stationary and have the power, precision, and timing to force Sterling to think twice. All in all, I was very impressed by his performance.

Going into the Sterling fight I was very perplexed about who I wanted to win... on the one hand I still considered the fact that O'Malley as champ will probably bring back the insufferable Conor-type turds to the mma community, but on the other hand I never took Aljo all that seriously as supposedly the top BW... and not to bash him or anything, the guy has some real skills and obviously accomplished a lot, but the thought of him leaving BW as champ didn't really sit well with me either.

At the end of the day, O'Malley is a guaranteed exciting fight regardless of who they match him up with, and his skills are undeniably impressive, and aside from his appearance the guy is really not that obnoxious, the things he says are well measured, he's not just spewing garbage, and he seems pretty realistic and level headed in his outlook. I don't know if I'd go so far as to say I'm a fan, but I can appreciate him and enjoy his fights. He's still very young but he already shows more maturity and mental fortitude than someone like Izzy for example, who I want to like but he just makes it impossible for me.

I mean if you can easily disregard a guy having a tattoo of a convicted :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:phile snitch then I suppose your powers of forgiveness are greater than mine
 
I dont like him, but the guy is legit, i thought he lost to Yan but proved he belongs there and well, beat Sterling, who for some dumb reason tried to strike with one of the best on the feet at BW...why? Follow the Yan gameplan, backpack your way to a win or a sub, he never tried.
 
Im still not sold on his TDD. Or what he will look like on the ground. If he doesn't duck Merab, and is able to last a few rounds with him, I will accept he is not a one trick pony. We will see. I hate his schtick though, so i will never root for him.
 
Him actively ducking Merab and Cory kinda cornballish. Asking for Gervonte Davis fight and stirring up things with Ryan Garcia.

ducking who? Cory is injured. UFC makes the matches. He just brained Merabs big bro; he’s not scared of lil homie
 
It’s long been apparent that he doesn’t really try to act outrageous or come up with cringeworthy verbal nonsense. He’s actually pretty sensible with most of the things he says, and clearly has some business acumen with how he is going about his career.

I didn’t really mind who won this fight, I like both fighters tbh, both tend to get stick that far outweighs what they deserve as both are pretty intelligent and respectful

I was a hater and switched up after the Yan fight, started to give him some props

when he fought that greenhaired punching bag I was a hater, as he was fake dribbling and stuff while he was fighting a guy who was brought in to lose. I can't deny suga anymore. the man is elite.

Terrible gif to post, with an untrained, out of shape Duran who needed a dump.

When they were both peak, Duran had no issues with the footwork at all.

the point being .. sean befuddled sterling with his footwork, which doesnt apply to the first leonard/duran fight
 
Nice to see O’Malley finally winning over the hateful nerds with his natural talent and entertaining style. It’s undeniable.
 
O Malley has always been the shit, his talent has been evident for a long time and he's always been chill af and not controversial at all. If you were swayed by the color of his hair or *gasp* his tattoos, congrats on being a 90 year old grandmother.
