He was a contender for best lightweight in the world around 2013, I probably would have favored him vs Eddie in a trilogy in 2016 when he was the UFC champ too, he came into the UFC when the division had progressed a lot and still came close to knocking out Charles for the title.

Obviously now he's old and washed on top of his game being outdated.
 
He goes balls out every time he enters the cage, and has the skillset to beat just about any top talent at any given time. I think he has a lower ceiling than a lot of the best dudes, but he also can hang with just about anyone

Benson, Eddie, and Pitbull are good wins for anyone's resume. Most guys who have beaten him are top talents and he's threatened just about every single one of them

I'd favor him over pretty much any iteration of Conor he could have possibly faced off against
 
I think that, all things considered, he's still a good win for anyone who beats him. He's lost fights he was winning, a time or two, and Hooker is and was a good win. Tony wasn't a good win, but his head is still out in space somewhere. He's still pretty spry for an old man

I think Over exposed is a better term than over rated. Nobody really thinks he's elite. But he does draw a lot of attention for a guy with a losing record so it gets a bit much after a while.
 
He's a stud but his youth is over. Can't pick his UFC results, look at the whole career. He was competitive vs everyone in the UFC, besides ironically Paddy. You expire at some point. His Bellator career was his prime where he had his rivalry with UFC champ Eddie Alvarez

Bellator Chandler was a lot more calculating. Maybe it's wear and tear, aging, lack of activity or the mounting losses taking a toll on him. It's also possible Islam was right about Micheal coming to the UFC to try and cash out with a Conor fight.

i feel prime chandler would have been bodied in the UFC

the eddie UFC title win was pretty fluky. Him getting schooled by cerrone shows about where he really stood. RDA just woke up on the wrong side of the bed that night. It was a Serra vs GSP moment
