Chael just wants views that translates to ad revenue.
Some of you ppl here already know this.

Conor isn't on contract forever. He can also threaten things to happen when his contract ends.

Take Conors penis out of your mouth for a second and read up on how UFC contracts works.
If you think UFC will let Conors contract end you are delusional, well you already are but still.

Schaub?

Right there he lost me.

Chael is begging Conor to come at him. Conor knows better it seems

Chael has various flaws, but if he can transfer his ability to effectively get under JJ's skin to CM, this could actually be interesting. He has way more time and focus (and sobriety) to devote to the exchange.

Sonnen to McGregor "There are five voices who matter..... if they band together and do not speak about you, your time in the sport is done."

Chael has lost it, sticking up for his fat drunk buddy. McGregor could destroy Chael's career, not the other way around.

  • Let's be real, McGregor has probably brought in close to 1 billion dollars in revenue with all his PPVs. He threatens to walk to another organization, and UFC will cave to firing anyone.
Dude is under contract for multiple more fights. He can't threaten anything on anyone.
Unless you're talking about retirement, the piece of shit would have to grit his teeth and hope to survive a few more ass whoopings before he gets to walk away

Lol if UFC doesn't let contracts end, they are going to lose their anti-trust suit.

There are 4-5 voices, but those are

1. Self-promoting. Direct link to fans. He has over 40 million.
2. UFC promotion. Millions.
3. MMA media. Who reach mostly regular followers of the sport.
4. Fans online. Regular followers.

The ones who reach the big casual audience aren't Chael, Florian, Anik or Bisping. They are down the ladder.

Bizarre. Chael looks like an idiot here. Miscounting was the least idiotic thing he said.

Pretending to ve some kind of golden age Hollywood power executive... chael. Come on. You're not that guy, pal.

LOl Conor wont be walking away from fuck all, they will make that contract stick until hes been squeezed dry. Dont think for a second Conor calls the shots.

chael was on 60_60

now u got fw bums making a million

Seems like such a waste of time to listen to anyone like Chael or especially Schaub for their take on MMA. One has kept a straight face saying the most insane, ridiculous BS that you know even he doesn't believe just to get attention and it makes anything that comes out of his mouth as irrelevant, and the other is a total knob.

The old fake beef to generate money on both ends....

I was expecting Chael to name high level execs, but he says shit like Brendan Schaub and Joe Rogan.

The people that sign Schaub and Rogans paychecks are the ones who would end McGregor, but they'll keep him around as long as he brings in the cash. That is all that matters at the end of the day.

It's hilarious how little people understand about how these industries operate.

Do you honestly believe that you understand how the industry operates better than chael?

I've worked in a technical facet behind the scenes in the entertainment industry for decades, mostly with high level execs and agencies. Knowing how all of this works and flows together is my bread and butter. I've even had high level TV execs call me and threaten to blackball me from the industry, so I probably know this topic better than most.

At one time, my business was the only business of it's kind in the industry, and thus I had nearly everyone you can think of as my customer.
