Chael is a PED cheater as well so they are both cheaters. It doesnt change the fact that Silva grabbed his shorts and hooked his gloves.

Because he was getting his ass kicked throughout the fight and his late submission was the one last ditch effort to save his face and he was lucky enough to pull it off.

You are fucking dense if you really think he purposely got his ass kicked for 23.5 minutes and took the risk to wait that much time to sub Sonnen. Did you see Silva's face, it was the look of surprise and relief, not the look of someone confident he would win.

I've run into some unhinged Silva fans no doubt, particularly after Weidman KOed him, but your comments here aren't all that balanced either. Of course Silva belongs in a grouping with Jones and Fedor.

Still doesn't explain why he didn't go for a sub the entire fight, there's no denying Silva has a great guard and sonnen has pretty bad sub defense when he's in the guard. Theres nonway to explain why he didn't even attempt a sub until the end other than that was the plan. And the beating he took from sonnen was far from an ass kicking, more like a sack of potatoes laying on him hitting him with a pillow.

Ali let foreman beat him up for 8 straight rounds n then finished him.

Same with Silva he will let you “get confortable” n then finish you in a split second

Unlike some other fighters who can’t finish anybody

Maybe... Because he had no openings? Its only in the last round that Chael became careless cause he tought the win was in the bank. You can't just throw sub attempts out of nowhere.
