I don't like Spencer or his ideas, but he has given no one a reason to use violence against him. What's worse is that many on the left are not stopping with using violent tactics against idiots like Spencer, but declaring anyone to the left of Karl Marx a Nazi and using violence against them.

As much as I detest Richard Spencer and his rhetoric, he's still a human being and has the right to not be assaulted on the street.

Okay, you punch a "nazi". Then what? Do they re-evaluate their views? No, they just get angry and want revenge. So where does the violence end? Who gets to decide who is open to be assaulted? There are plenty of people out there who feel Communism is right up there with Nazi beliefs... what if people start punching Communists? Or socialists? Or hey, let's just punch anyone with a view we disagree with. Yeah, that'll turn out great.

Usually when someone refers to "the media" they are referring to news media. If you are influenced by fake TV shows you have issues to sort out.
