Law Capitol Rioter Megathread

This will be remembered every year just like 9/11. At least that was perpetrated by foreign terrorists attacking our country and not native <white supremacist> terrorists trying to destroy our democracy.

@My Spot
Ah yes, 9/11 where 3,000 people were tragically killed, versus Jan 6 where the only person killed was Ashley Babbitt. Same thing pretty much.

Tried to destroy our Democracy by halting a formality for a few hours, LOL...

I already explained why I referenced 9/11 but that second sentence is just willful ignorance.

No it's just a matter of fact.
Because there was no conspiracy to have Pence certify fake electors, and barring that interrupt the certification past the Constitutional deadline, so that the case would get punted to the SCOTUS?

Trump tried his best to prevent the peaceful transfer of power but he was no match for Pelosi who once again laid her sack on his chin by calling everyone back to finish the certification.

lol at panic wrestling with "but Jimmy Kimmel" in the capitol rioter megathread haha.

they told us to hate "you people"! yeah we know. don't go eating your neighbors during the next plandemic if they tell you to lol

He didn’t try and pressure the VP to toss out the lawful votes of thousands of Americans? He didn’t have slates of illegal and fraudulent electors, to try and steal an election he lost at the polls? Cuz I’m pretty sure he did.
you people are sick.
Fuck every single one of those pieces of shit. Anyone legitimately protesting is fine. Anyone even attempting to break in? Fuck em, and charge them with whatever crime is applicable.

Here's some interesting stats, SN. As of 2 days ago:

1,230+ MAGAts have been charged with federal crimes for Jan 6th
730 MAGAts have pled guilty
170 MAGAts have been convicted at trial by judge or jury

You speak of people being made deranged by Trump? No need to rely on fantasies! Here is the actual evidence!

None of that was ever going to actually happen, and that's completely irrelevant to Jan 6 which is what we are talking about right now. The "insurrection" had zero chance of overthrowing democracy.

That was the plan for January 6, what are you even talking about?? The plan for that day was to have Pence reject the electors for certain states, and then accept new, fraudulent slates of electors. It‘s like you’ve never read the Eastman Memo.

Saying that was never going to happen is ridiculous. #1, because conspiring to commit a crime is still, in fact, a crime; and #2, it all came down to Pence standing his ground and not participating in the scheme. Our democracy very literally hinged on one fucking guy that day.

Storming the capitol was going to accomplish this how? Pence doesn't have the ability to reject electors and decide disputes, only to open envelopes. Their was zero chance that the election could have been overthrown.
