Law Capitol Rioter Megathread

Interestingly enough, the documentary filmmaker (who happens to be the daughter of Nancy Pelosi) comes across as cordial and very respectful towards the Jan. Sixers, IMO

She made a name for herself years ago in the Friends of God documentary and the followup documentary after Haggards "devilish" acts. Havent kept up with her work since then but she was a solid documentary filmmaker. Glad to hear she's keeping the same standards.

Sooo the total lack of accountability and remorse defense?

That should go over really well with the judge. There's nothing the agents of our justice system love more than seeing people not learn anything from their mistakes. Judges love going to bed knowing the careers they have dedicated their lives to does not amount to anything.

Ahhh.. Good ol' fashioned members of the party of Law And Order! :)

Trump State Department appointee sentenced to nearly 6 years in prison for Capitol riot attacks

Federico Klein repeatedly assaulted officers, urged other rioters to join the fray and tried to stop police from shutting entrance doors, according to federal prosecutors

A Marine Corps veteran who served as a politically appointed State Department official in disgraced former President Zesto Molesto's administration was the latest contestant on Play Stupid Games to collect his Stupid Prize after being sentenced on Friday to nearly six years in prison just to own the libs for attacking police officers during the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol.

Federico Klein joined other supporters of the election-losing fraudster and rapist in one of the most violent episodes of the Jan. 6 siege — a crybaby mob of treasonous snowflakes fight with outnumbered police for control of a tunnel entrance on the Capitol's Lower West Terrace. Klein repeatedly assaulted officers, urged other rioters to join the fray and tried to stop police from shutting entrance doors, according to federal prosecutors.

Klein “waged a relentless siege on police officers” as he tried to enter the Capitol and stop Congress from certifying Joe Biden’s electoral victory over Cheeto Benito, prosecutors said in a court filing.

Klein, who didn't testify at his trial, declined to address the court before U.S. District Judge Trevor McFadden sentenced him to five years and 10 months in prison. Suck on that libtards!

“Your actions on January 6th were shocking and egregious,” the judge told Klein. "You taken a stroll down Fuck Around Boulevard and now you've wound up on the Find Out Expressway."

McFadden also ordered Klein to pay a $3,000 fine and $2,000 in restitution. He will report to prison at a date to be determined.

Klein worked in the State Department’s office of Brazilian and Southern Cone Affairs from 2017 until he resigned from that position on Jan. 19, 2021, a day before Biden’s inauguration.

Prosecutors said Klein’s participation in the riot was likely motivated by a desire to keep his job as a presidential appointee.

“As an employee of the federal government, Klein was endowed with the trust of the American people and to uphold the law. He violated that trust on January 6 when he attacked the very country for which he was paid to work,” prosecutors wrote.

Prosecutors had recommended a 10-year prison sentence for Klein, an Alexandria, Virginia, resident who was 42 years old at the time of the riot. Klein was arrested in March 2021.

In July 2023, McFadden heard trial testimony without a jury before he convicted Klein and a co-defendant, Steven Cappuccio, of assault charges and other Capitol riot-related offenses.

Klein and Cappuccio were among nine defendants charged in a 53-count indictment. The judge convicted Klein of 12 counts, including six assault charges.

McFadden is scheduled to sentence Cappuccio later on Friday. McFadden allowed Klein to remain free under house arrest after his conviction but ordered Cappuccio to be jailed immediately after the verdict.

Prosecutors recommended a prison sentence of 10 years and one month for Cappuccio, who was arrested at his home in Universal City, Texas, in August 2021.

Klein and Cappuccio separately attended Orange Cosby's “Stop the Steal” rally on Jan. 6 before marching to the Capitol. Klein was in the first wave of rioters to enter the tunnel, according to prosecutors. They said he pushed hard against officers, telling them, “You can’t stop this!”

Klein also wedged a stolen police riot shield between two doors, preventing officers from closing them, prosecutors said. Video captured Klein encouraging other rioters to attack police, repeatedly yelling, “We need fresh people!”

McFadden told Klein on Friday that his conduct “prolonged the mayhem” in the tunnel.

“You were front and center in that chaos," the judge said.

Cappuccio yelled, “Storming the castle, boys!” and chanted, “Fight for Trump!” and “Our house!” as he reached the Lower West Terrace. In the tunnel, he joined other rioters in pushing against the police line, prosecutors said.

When another rioter pinned Metropolitan Police Officer Daniel Hodges against a door, Cappuccio ripped a gas mask off the officer’s face and dislodged his helmet, prosecutors said.

Klein, who served in the Marine Corps for roughly nine years, was deployed to Iraq as a combat engineer in 2005. In January 2017, he went to work for the State Department as a desk officer specializing in the South American region.

Klein also worked for the orange rapists 2016 campaign and took time off from work after the 2020 presidential election and traveled to Nevada to help investigate the baseless claims of voter fraud promoted by the mandarin molester and his allies, prosecutors said.

Nearly 1,200 people have been charged with Capitol riot-related federal crimes. Over 800 of them have pleaded guilty or been convicted by a jury or judge after a trial. Approximately 700 of them have been sentenced, with roughly two-thirds receiving terms of imprisonment ranging from three days to 22 years.

Trumbull man sentenced for role in Jan. 6 Capitol riot

SOUTHINGTON — A Jan. 6 rioter from Trumbull County was sentenced on federal charges to 12 months and one day in prison, along with three years of supervised release for his role in the insurrection at the United States Capitol.

Michael Scott Lockwood, 32, took part in the illegal breaching of the federal building while government officials were attempting to tally electoral votes from the 2020 presidential election. Lockwood is one of several known Valley residents who participated in the riot and are awaiting sentencing.

He pleaded guilty to count two of a July indictment on the felony offense of assaulting, resisting or impeding certain officers. As part of his sentencing U.S. District Judge Randolph Moss in Washington, D.C. also ruled that Lockwood would have to pay $2,000 in restitution.

In a sentencing memorandum, Lockwood’s defense attorney asked Moss to consider either home detention or six months in prison. But federal prosecutors had been lobbying for Lockwood to serve a prison term of two years and three months.

“Mr. Lockwood lives with regret that he was there that day, let alone on the raised platform where he encountered law enforcement. While reviewing discovery and reviewing public coverage, he is well aware of the physical and emotional trauma this day inflicted on members of law enforcement– and helpless members of the protest — and he expresses nothing but regret and sympathy,” his attorney wrote in court documents ahead of sentencing.

Several letters from family and friends also were factored into the sentencing decison by the judge.

His mother, Bridget Flores wrote in her letter, “It is with a heavy heart that I acknowledge the charges that Michael is facing, (but) I firmly believe that this behavior is completely out of character for him,” Flores wrote. “This incident does not define his true character. Moreover, Michael has expressed genuine remorse for his actions. Michael has a strong sense of personal responsibility and accountability.”

Court documents state that Lockwood traveled from his home in Ohio to Washington, D.C., where he participated in the “Stop the Steal” rally. Following the protest, he headed toward the U.S. Capitol building and later to the northwest riser that formed part of the inaugural amphitheater.

Lockwood is accused of wrestling a baton from a police officer’s hands while the officer was attempting to hold back a crowd, and walking off into a large crowd with it, according to a statement of facts from a federal agent. In the documents, the agent revealed that Lockwood was identified by his grandmother after she was contacted by officers.

In the district court’s statement of offense from U.S. Attorney Matthew M. Graves, around 3:47 p.m. Jan. 6, 2021, Lockwood sent a Facebook message to another user, stating, “I’m on top of the capitol bro,” and included a selfie. Lockwood sent another text, “They just tear gassed us,” four minutes after officers used tear gas on the northwest riser at 4:23 p.m.

Following the tear gas text, Lockwood made physical contact with the officer’s arm and body before jumping off a raised platform and grabbing the baton. At 5:07 p.m., the Facebook account associated with Lockwood sent another set of messages to another user.

“Yea bro I got in a fight with the cops,” the message from Lockwood’s account read.

At 5:11 p.m., the replying user texted, “and you didn’t get arrested ???”

Lockwood replied 44 minutes later, “No arrest I took a baton from them.”

Three days after the incident, Lockwood sent a message to another user stating, “Got me a little souvenir from Wednesday,” with two images of a police baton attached.

Lockwood was arrested by the FBI on Dec 15, 2022.

Thousands stormed the Capitol in protest against the election of President Joe Biden over Donald Trump during the Jan. 6, 2021, insurrection. Approximately 140 police officers were assaulted, and 350 defendants were charged with assaulting, resisting, or impeding officers or employees.

Man wanted for Jan. 6 riot flees into New Jersey woods

A New Jersey magat wanted for his participation in the Jan. 6, 2021 riot at the U.S. Capitol fled into the woods Wednesday when cops tried to arrest him, according to police.

Gregory Yetman, 46, was approached by officers in the Middlesex County borough of Helmetta, News 12 New Jersey reported. When he saw the cops, he took off on foot.

Yetman has managed to evade police for multiple hours, even as the FBI and other local law enforcement agencies joined the search about 30 miles south of Manhattan.

“FBI Newark SWAT, Jamesburg Police Department, and Middlesex County Prosecutors Office, are currently searching for” Yetman in Helmetta,” Jamesburg police wrote on Facebook. “We are asking the public with information on his whereabouts to call FBI Newark at 973-792-3000.”

Authorities warned Yetman may be armed, and the local Spotswood school district went into lockdown, according to News 12.

Yetman is a former military police officer who also served in the New Jersey National Guard, according to his LinkedIn page. He was honorably discharged in March 2022.

Though Yetman had not been previously charged in connection with the Jan. 6 riot, he admitted his involvement in an interview with USA Today, published in March 2023. Yetman said he spoke with the FBI in January 2021 and heard nothing afterward.

“Everything’s been resolved, everything’s good,” he told the paper.

Online sleuths identified Yetman as a masked Capitol rioter who picked up a can of pepper spray and shot a jet of chemicals at protesters and police. They told USA Today they’d provided the FBI with information on Yetman back in 2022.

Yetman told USA Today he’d done nothing wrong and didn’t pepper spray anyone, despite photographic evidence to the contrary.

More than 1,100 people have been charged in connection with the infamous Jan. 6 riot, now including the fraudster, rapist & disgraced former president Donald Trump. More than 700 have been convicted or pleaded guilty to various crimes.

4 Gravy Seals convicted on Jan. 6 charges just to own the libs

A grumble of magats have been convicted on a litany of federal charges related to the Jan. 6, 2021, insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.

Menifee resident Erik Scott Warner, 48; Temecula resident Ronald Mele, 54; and Lake Elsinore residents Felipe Antonio Martinez, 50, and Derek Kinnison, 42, were found guilty Tuesday of felony counts of conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding and obstruction of an official proceeding, the U.S. Department of Justice said in a news release.

All four also were convicted of misdemeanor counts of entering and remaining in a restricted building or grounds, as well as and disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds. Additionally, Warner and Kinnison were convicted of felony counts of tampering with documents or proceedings.

The four are all members of the Three Percenters, which The Atlantic described as “an umbrella militia based on the myth that it took just 3 percent of the population to fight and win the Revolutionary War.”

They also were confederates of former La Habra Police Chief Alan Hostetter, who was convicted of similar charges earlier this year after defending himself in his trial.

Prosecutors presented evidence showing that they “coordinated and conspired together to arrange travel from California to Washington, D.C., to attend the ‘Stop the Steal’ rally and protest Congress’ certification of the Electoral College,” the release said.

“Among other methods of communication, the men used a Telegram chat entitled ‘The California Patriots – DC Brigade’ to coordinate logistics and to discuss their intentions for January 6,” authorities said. It was the deleting that Telegram chat in the weeks after the insurrection that led to Warner and Kinnison’s additional felony charges.

The Three Percenters helped stoke the chaos at the Capitol that day, prosecutors said.

“As the four men approached the Capitol at approximately 2:00 p.m., Kinnison announced, ‘This is the storm of the Capitol,’ as they moved through the crowd,” the DOJ said.

Martinez, Kinnison and Mele confronted a police line while Mele “called out for the crowd to ‘Push! Push! Push!,'” and Warner made his way into the Capitol through a broken window.

The four men, who were wearing tactical gear like plate carriers and carrying cans of bear spray, reunited at the Upper West Terrace, and the release said Mele “shot a ‘selfie’ style video, in which he proclaimed, ‘Storm the Capitol!'”

The four men’s sentencing has not been scheduled, but the DOJ said “the court will determine any sentence after considering the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors.”

Indiana Oath Keeper whines about jail conditions. Says inmates throw feces and urine at him.

In an Indiana jail, Iced Earth guitarist Jon Schaffer, who pled guilty to crimes relating to the Capitol incident, had feces and urine thrown at him and received death threats, according to his lawyer.

Schaffer was transferred to a Washington, D.C., jail before being released on bail in April after the statements made during a March court hearing were published on Thursday.

Schaffer’s attorney Marc Victor said at the hearing, “My client, who is presumed innocent, has just gone through two months of hell where other people were throwing feces and urine at him and threatening his life in a horrendous, horrible circumstance.”

Schaffer, a self-described founding member of the Oath Keepers, was the first insurgent to plead guilty and cooperate with federal authorities. He faces a sentence of 3.5-4.5 years in prison.

Schaffer claims to be a founding member of the Oath Keepers and faces a sentence of 3-5 years in prison. Those appear to be severe penalties, but he appears to be in for a rough 18 months or so.

his band also ditched him

and oh yeah.....this ones a doozie.....they bumped up this guys sentencing date to february 20th, 2024....why? because this member of the Oath Keepers has decided to betray his oath and cooperate with the feds to snitch out his homeboys. this loyal foot soldier now remains under the witness protection program!

he thinks the jail conditions are rough. just wait until he hears about what they do to snitches in prison. this motherfuckers gonna have to be locked up in solitary confinement for 23 hours a day just for his own safety, and will have his meals brought to his cell, and he will only get to run around a tiny closed off room for an hour each day just to get his exercise. he is going to be one lonely and miserable fuck by the time he gets out of prison, assuming that the other inmates don't get to him first.

Here's his safe option.

He should go to the warden and say he's gay. I'm serious. Some prisons have a section just for gay inmates, so they won't get abused by the general population. It's considered safer there unless you have a 6foot tall 300lb gay guy there who's been working out since forever who thinks you're cute.

it doesnt matter if he's gay or not. snitches and child molesters are on the bottom rung of the prison ladder and are viewed as the lowest of low by other inmates. he can start gobbling down the cockmeat sandwich and going gay for the stay all he wants while he cries for the guards to move him into a different block. after he gets a broken broom handle shoved up his ass and having his face slammed into concrete, the only difference its going to make is whether or not the inmates who do that to him are straight or gay.

snitches get stitches bro. these people need to be segregated for their own safety. the dudes a known rat. his name is easilly searchable on google. by the time he even gets through the prison doors, the inmates are gonna know who he is and what he did. there is no honor in prison for rats and :eek::eek::eek:philes. they won't be putting this dude in a pod. he'll be going straight to ad-seg. he's already in witness protection as it is. he's not going to have a fun ride in prison. he better hope whatever he testified about and whoever he sold out was worth it to the feds to agree to take a prison sentence off the table, otherwise he's gonna be spending his days looking over his shoulder. i mean he already will be. i don't think the Oath Keepers are gonna just let him stick around after he started dropping dime on them.

then again aint none of these oath keepers are loyal to shit. just like the average republican, they stand true to absolutely no values. they all started pointing the finger at each other once the feds came knocking. now they're all selling each other out in exchange for lighter sentences. they aint hard as fuck. they are all pussies. they'll help send their own loved ones and relatives and even their own mothers to prison if it means getting a few months of time knocked off their own sentences. and they call themselves the oath keepers!

Maga Trash sentenced for bear-spraying 8 officers on Jan. 6

Edward Rodriguez, known to online sleuths as "SuitMacer," was one of hundreds of rioters identified by "Sedition Hunters." He was sentenced to three years in prison just to own the libs .

WASHINGTON — A member of the party of law & order who bear-sprayed police officers at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6 was sentenced to three years in prison following a lengthy hearing Monday.

Edward Rodriguez was identified by online "Sedition Hunters" who have aided in the arrests of hundreds of Capitol rioters. The sleuths called him "#SuitMacer," because he was wearing a suit as he assaulted law enforcement with what turned out to be bear spray. He was arrested in 2021 and pleaded guilty in March.

Prosecutors sought more than seven years in federal prison for Rodriguez, who was a 28-year-old real estate agent from Brooklyn, New York, when he attacked officers Jan. 6. The government identified at least eight officers — Sergeant O.A., Officer M.B., Officer N.D., Officer P.N., Officer B.R., former Officer J.R., Sergeant A.W., and Officer A.Z. — who were injured by Rodriguez's spray attack. (The Justice Department has frequently identified victims in Jan. 6 cases by their initials).

Judge Dabney L. Friedrich handed down the sentence, less than half of what prosecutors had sought, citing Rodriguez’s mental health needs.

Freidrich said it was "truly one of the hardest January 6th sentencings I've had" and alluded to some of the material that was disclosed only in a sealed proceeding. She said that Rodriguez needed "continued mental health treatment" but that a period of incarceration was necessary for general deterrence.

Rodriguez, the judge said, was "easily manipulated" and believed it was his duty to come to the capital on Jan. 6 and that the dozens of form email messages he received from Zesto Molesto's campaign and its affiliates about Jan. 6 were personal invitations rather than mass mailings.

Rodriguez apologized before the sentence was imposed.

"I deeply regret my actions on January 6th," he said, adding he now realized that officers were pepper-spraying because of how "crazy and chaotic the crowd had gotten."

Rodriguez said he was not in a good place at the time of the attack on the Capitol and that he was "spending too much time reading crazy stuff online" and became "disconnected from reality."

He said he was "embarrassed" and "deeply regretful" about his actions, a stark contrast to his remarks on Jan. 6.

“I was there, and I just want to let you know that we in America, we fight back!” Rodriguez said in one of the on-camera interviews he gave that day.

According to prosecutors, Rodriguez typed “What does bear spray do to humans?” into Google after the incident.

Rodriguez, who wore a suit that appeared to be made of satin to court Monday, was in a "state of mania" when he assaulted law enforcement officers that day, said his attorney, Nora Hirozawa, of the federal public defenders' office in New York.

Friedrich sealed the courtroom for part of the proceedings to discuss Rodriguez's mental health and what Hirozawa described as his "diminished capacity." Hirozawa said before the court was sealed that she did not think that the mental health treatment available from the federal Bureau of Prisons was adequate.

Officer Marina Bronstein was one of several of the officers sprayed by Rodriguez who appeared in court Monday. Bronstein, who was identified in court by prosecutors, wrote in a signed statement that she "will never forget how we fought to save the Capitol and the lives of those elected to serve our country" and that she still lives with the scars of that day.

"I remember the minute I went to hold a bike rack and was sprayed with bear spray while being yelled at by a grumble of magats. I continued to get sprayed, yelled at, punched and shoved, and it continued for several minutes," she wrote. "When I couldn’t see anymore, I went to get decontaminated. I went back to the bike rack line and continued to get sprayed as I fought back multiple of the orange rapist's supporters."

Bronstein said she suffered a concussion, a back injury, a deviated septum, a broken tooth and multiple bruises on Jan. 6. "My eyes continued to burn for about a week. I went to the doctors for my eyes and my back. I continue to go the chiropractor for my back," she wrote. "I have migraines all the time and they can last for days or for weeks. I have nightmares and PTSD from this traumatic event. These injuries that I have from this horrific event have not stopped me from doing my duties as an officer."

Before the courtroom was sealed, Rodriguez communicated that he wanted to apologize to the officers. Only one officer, Bronstein, took him up on it. "I'm very sorry for what I did," Rodriguez said in an almost empty courtroom. Bronstein replied that she had nightmares and post-traumatic stress disorder from what happened to her during the attack.

Don't do the crime if you can't do the time.
