ive always thought this fight was a waste of time but now that its gonna happen, what the hell. ill tune in.

Beterbiev vs Bivol wasn’t a hard fight to predict.
Benavidez vs Morrell wasn’t a hard fight to predict.

Well, since Alvarez seems likely to fight Jake Paul in May he could be in the right mindset to make a Crawford fight interesting in a way. That being said that's not the way to get me interested.
 
If confirmed, then it makes a Crawford fight more interesting per se because from now on Alvarez wouldn't care much about his legacy from a pure boxing standpoint anymore, so he could certainly step on his cock against a stud like Bud. That being said Ginger would already be retired in my book. Good for Crawford, I guess, but I don't care much about a version of Canelo that would sign to fight Jake fucking Paul on Cinco de Mayo.

Now I do hope this won't happen, of course.

Because Beterbiev is too strong and hits too hard. Analysis of both their skillsets shows Bivol cannot hurt Beterbiev nor avoid Beterbiev’s punches for extended amounts of time without giving up points.

The only LHW I’d favor over Beterbiev is Roy Jones Jr. Everybody else has a 50% chance at best. Bivol will always make it competitive but Beterbiev should be the slight favorite every time they fight.
 
I can't think of any way Crawford wins this. We already saw his power after moving up to fight Madrimov, and he wants to move up again to fight Canelo? He's gonna be shooting spitballs at him, basically. Crawford has skills for sure, but weight classes exist for a reason; he doesn't strike me as the Harry Greb type. Very likely that Crawford gets finished from Canelo doing his usual 'walk forward and rip bodyshots all night' approach.
