India, the super power without toilets, thinks they are capable of manipulating things, but they are living embodiment of incompetence so they get caught by even Canada's bush league intel agencies.. hurting the candidate they want to win... who does not need or want their help. Good job retards, thanks a lot. These Temu authoritarians just keep fucking PP. Zero chill.

JFC is the Premier of my province dumb or what?

Talk about saying the quiet part loud. Fucking absolute moron.
Danielle Smith called for a cease fire in a trade war; it doesn't sound dumb to me.

Which Canadian premier is more conservative than Danielle Smith?

Damn. NDP going to lose party status....well ending the dreg based pharma and dental programs is a plus. Crazy to see the Canadian soy based coalition so excited to vote for 1 or 2 guys who's entire platform is to cut spending and increase private business

Jagy stabbed his party in the back by not forcing an election last year. Now there will be a shell left of the NDP and he won't have a seat.

She called for election interference by a foreign power

If all she did was “call for a cease fire” that would be fine. But to say in an interview that she was calling for a cease fire in order to give an advantage to Poliviere, and that Poliviere would be more “in sync” with the direction Trump is wanting to take America, is incredibly fucking stupid. Most Canadians absolutely HATE Trump since all the 51st state bullshit. Anyone that was kind of on the fence between Carney/LPC and Poliviere/CPC until now would read comments like this and interpret it that Poliviere is not going to stand up to Trump and instead is going to follow Smith’s “appeasement” strategy which hasn’t accomplished anything, Trump still slapped a tariff on Alberta oil and gas.

To be clear I am supporting the CPC in this election. But what Smith did was fucking RETARDED. She is a fucking idiot and a loser.

Danielle Smith wants Canada to have a good relationship with its neighbor, and she thinks Poilievre will be more neighborly than Carney. She is endorsing Poilievre. Carney's "elbow's up" may be playing well with the electorate, but it is stupid policy. Which Canadian premier is more conservative than Danielle Smith?

Danielle Smith has gone on conservative talk shows to make the case against tariffs. She is hoping that, if she can get some of these talk show hosts on board, they will apply more pressure on Trump to end tariffs than she can alone. Part of her argument is that the tariffs are helping the Liberals unite against a foreign threat, which can also be blamed for economic mismanagement at home. She thinks that cooperation will be better between governments of similar ideology than between governments of dissimilar ideology. I don't think that these arguments amount to a request for election interference by a foreign power.

Whether or not there’s merit to Smith suggestion that Poilievre would have an easier time getting along with US officials under Trump that Carney and the Liberals is kind of besides the point. Poilievre has an election to win, and even if cooperation with the Trump administration is smarter policy than maintaining an antagonistic relationship, the Canadian electorate doesn’t want to see that. They want to see someone say “fuck Donald Trump, he’s a piece of shit”. The reason I’m calling Smith an idiot is she’s hurting Poilievre’s chances, even if she’s right.

“Fuck Donald Trump, he’s a piece of shit” is something the Liberals will say. The Conservatives keep failing because they keep following instead of leading. Danielle Smith is leading. If people will free their minds from CBC/CTV/Global narratives, they will realize what a great leader Danielle Smith is for promoting a good neighborly relationship with the USA. A good neighborly relationship does not mean being a lap dog or deputy sheriff, which is why she is making the economic case against tariffs to the most receptive conservative audience (conservative media). I prefer her approach to swearing.

Ok, but like I said. Poilievre has an election to win, and Smith’s approach is not going to win it for him.

Furthermore, as I said, her approach has yet to yield any tangible dividends. If and when Alberta gets favourable treatment compared to other provinces with respect to tariffs on its industries then she’ll be vindicated, but until that happens her approach is not palatable to the majority of Canadians.

Lastly, the reason why the “Elbows Up” stuff is resonating so much more with most Canadians than Smith’s approach is the fact that it’s not just an issue of tariffs on their own, it’s the fact that Trump keeps spewing his 51st state crap and insulting Canada’s sovereignty is why people would rather see someone stand up to Trump’s bullying than to try and play nice with his administration.

I don't care much for Trump's 51st state rhetoric, but in the end, you cannot defeat evil with evil. You can defeat evil only with good. Danielle Smith is applying the Golden Rule of do unto others as you would have them do unto you, like a good neighbor. She has my support for this approach, and it doesn't matter to me what other Canadians think about it. I see her success as attracting the best quality interprovinical migrants to work in Alberta. She does so by being a shining example herself of what Alberta is capable of.

Well, you're wrong

The pharma and dental programs are now law. Why would that change?

I'm not sure you understand how government works TBH. In fact I know that you don't.

So is the GHGPPA / Carbon Tax; that doesnt mean Federal laws in Canada are not iron clad, there are amend and repeal parameters that a majority government can easily do. Furthermore outside of some broad stroke negotiations with BC, pharma act hasn't been negotiated with any other provinces and likely wil be challenged under the constitution act which delegates jurisdiction of heathcare to provinces.

So, obviously YOU don't know how government works.
