So Carney says our alliance with the US, our trade relationship and military cooperation as we know it is over.

This has to be the single most traitorous statement ever made by a Canadian politician.

Anyone planning on voting for this guy needs to give their head a shake, he is actually selling us out. China and Russia are now licking their chops after this.

The US is our biggest trading partner. No doubt. The current US administration has repeatedly said his goal is to hurt us to force annexation and make us a 51st state. Whether you think it’s a tactic or not, he said it. Canada has long relied on the US as basically a sole partner to its own demise. We see that now. Any PM coming in should be saying they are gonna explore more global trade partners and reduce our reliance on the US as much as possible. But you can twist it all you want. Traitorous my ass.

We should be diversifying trade yes, but the logistical problems of replacing the US as a trade partner entirely will be massive, we will never get the same value shipping product across the planet that we will will shipping it across the border.

Ending our military cooperation with the US is a scary scary move. We can't fund our own military, do we really want to rely on overseas allies in a wartime scenario ?

With Russia and US strengthening ties due to Trump, what happens if Russia decides they see us as the next Ukraine and invade the arctic ? We could be totally on our own or worse the US could be assisting Russian invasion of their new enemy...

Voting Liberal could turn out to be a mortal mistake, you need to wake up and realize this.

I have many friends and family in Alberta. None of them want to join the US. They do feel they don’t need Canada to be self-sufficient and wish they had less regulation on oil.

Quebec has not changed in the last 10 years if you ask me.

We can't even get as good value shipping product within Canada as we get shipping to and from the US.
