Under the trudy government Canadian household debt to income ratio has been the highest in the G7, FDI has reached lowest levels in decades, productivity levels have reached the lowest in 40 years and gdp growth has been abysmal in US comparison since 2016. The trudy Liberal leadership was the most inept and feckless we've had in a very long time.

Now Carney seems to be focused on spending cuts and government shrinkage as is Pollievre...so we should see similarities there. They both seemingly are going to go after increasing FDI and Pollievre is going to focus on increasing national mining and resource exports.

Either way, we need a majority and an apology from remaining liberal cabinet members for the trudeau government follies.

The best part is though is the NDP is likely going to lose official party status by dropping below 12 seats. So we don't have to hear them in parliament nearly as much and pharma and dental care will be dropped, eliminating spending on useless eaters.

I, too am shocked. Any way you slice it I am vehemently opposed to this tax, but being charitable I could even call it a "success" if any investments in "green" technology were advanced as a result but this is an objective failure in that it didn't even accomplish their own stupid goals.
