As to Mexican contributions to the US, you forget that Mexicans toiled the fields on the homefront during WW2, keeping the nation fed.

I've worked in countless restaurants with hard working illegals and they were never underpaid, I'm aware you don't have a job so this might not be a subject you're familiar with.

Hell I've worked in kitchens where I was the only person fluent English, I just speak shitty kitchen Spanish so I was able to communicate pretty effectively.

My wife has worked on many cases where employers have hired foreigners and basically taken them hostage by telling them they would not help in renewing their work visas. The foreigners were forced to work long hours with little pay in fear of being sent back to their countries.
