I don't see a downside to Canada on this. 30000 skilled migrants that were educated in the US. They came there as children so they know everything about North American culture already. No need to educate, assimilate or integrate. This is a no brainer.

The same reason the US or Canada would lament if Australia or the UK or any other civilized nation all of a sudden decided to send all the Americans or Canadians packing. Seems unfair if they're just studying or working and paying taxes and not causing any trouble.

I don't think USA is evil, I rather love the place. And I have no objections with the cancellation of DACA, what bugs me is threatening to deport law abiding tax payers or students who have already established themselves in the US.
