I never said the USA was a hellhole. If you pay attention to what I was posting, then you will notice I was being sarcastic about the left's white privilege claims. I said if the USA is a white supremacy hellhole like the left claims, then the Mexicans affected by DACA are better off in Mexico.

As I will say more than once ITT, earlier I was in a hurry and posting from my phone. I missed the sarcasm. I also dismissed the argument because it is a ridiculous overstatement. I would love for someone to tell me what in the actual fuck "the left" means around here, because I thought I was left politically but if all the shit around here that is attributed to the left is true I'm a total fucking asshole and I know I'm not so..... I call bullshit.

At the same time, thanks for the clarification but I have to call this one like I see it. I see this all day every day on here and it's tiresome. In every thread someone attributes some overstated horror to the entire "left" when it should be common knowledge around here that although there are extreme elements on both right and left, civilization is still standing so we can assume they're still a small minority.

For reasons having nothing to do with racism, you're right that many of them may be just as well or better off back in Mexico where they can apply their American education in under-served areas of their country. Not that I know a whole lot about their circumstances individually or as a group, but I'm willing to concede that is a possibility. Wouldn't it be great if it was left up to them to decide for themselves?

My wife has worked on many cases where employers have hired foreigners and basically taken them hostage by telling them they would not help in renewing their work visas. The foreigners were forced to work long hours with little pay in fear of being sent back to their countries.

So, my bad I was on my phone and in a hurry and made an error in fact but it didn't impact my argument, whereas your followup post, above, strengthens my argument. Instead of France, let's take Austria which is around the same area but has 10 times the population, with much of the area being mountains. Or how about you try and tell me how many people you think can comfortably live in ~73k km^2, which is what, 0.7% of the total area? Lots more where that came from.

Canada is on the same latitudes as most of Europe. Calgary is the same latitude as London, UK. Most of Canada has pretty decent summers that are warmer than 60°F on average. Just because fewer people live farther from the border doesn't mean they can't. Why should it be developed until it is needed?

On the subject of accusations of racism, you complained that failing other arguments (which was not the case) was the reason for the post. Not correct. In that post, I was very clear about how I defined a racist in this context and I challenge you to show me how it is not. I said,
