Can we talk about overrated bands?

Overrated bands, not overrated musicians.

Guns n Roses is a loser band with loser vibes. Welcome to the jungle is awesome, but whenever I hear any of their songs I think of all the zero low lifes that are huge guns n roses fans and get an overwhelming loser vibe.

I see a few posts down you say Coldplay is overrated. I would argue that they are underrated. Different strokes.

Coldplay has no soul. No heart. Dentist music. I would much rather hang with a Guns fan than a Coldplay fan....Losers come in all shapes and sizes. Every band has pros and cons. But go to a Guns show and leave with energy and a smile. Leave a Coldplay show after having a nap.

I really liked Coldplay in the Garden State soundtrack. Coldplay is a bit more sophisticated and complex, not everyone will vibe with it.

What you see is what you get with Guns n Roses. For me, they have always had a negative vibe and negative aura about them. Whenever I hear them playing at work or something I'm overwhelmed with loser vibes.
 
I think overrated is the wrong term since it's just personal taste but i don't like

In the 10's and 20's, all the fempower coochey coochey rap whores who the press fawns over for "empowering" little girls with their raunchy lyrics.

Megan Thee Stallion. Cardi B. Etc.

I used to have strong opinions on this. Overrated, underrated... bands are just "rated" to me now. My ranking. Just some schmuck with an opinion like everyone else. For every person out there that thinks Chumbawumba got too much airplay, there's another one that thinks they didn't get enough.
 
Tool, RHCP, Weezer, foo fighters, Beatles, nirvana, Pearl Jam, Tom Petty, Green Day, Pink Floyd, Guns ‘n roses, the eagles and the doors.

I have to agree with many here, Nirvana are overrated. Kurt sucked and him dying young gave them a boost regarding their legacy and their music hasn't aged well.
