Can a Prostitute Truly Ever Love?

I am pretty sure that's not what prostitution is. And not all of us partake in casual sex.

Yeah, they get paid, but it's still just casual sex. Of course I'm only talking about the willing prostitutes. Not anyone who was forced into it.

You never partook in casual sex? Ever? You square.

Why the hell would a prostitute be unable to love? I don't get how their job, former or current, makes a difference.

My definition of prostitution would be "A transaction where one trades sex for something other than sexual pleasure."

No, I never partook in casual sex. I was always in relationships, which did vary in seriousness, though. One night stands and hook ups are something I always avoided.

Most strippers I've come across are prostitutes, and they aren't some emotionless, alien beings. They probably have more issues and addictions than the average, but a lot of them are just attracted to the quick money. I've talked to a good number of them while watching fights, and most say they do it to cash out. Some are funding college. Like Mike said, unless they're sociopaths they can love.

Aren't we all kinda prostitutes ?

I'm actually asking. Deciding on a job prospect right now.

First define "love"...

Of course they can love. They're human, not rocks.

Yes, I mean they're people, people with feelings, of course they can fall in love.

An old friend of mine who passed away in the 90s used to be a screenwriter lost family because of his alcoholism he also got fired from his job so he decided to go to Vegas to basically drink himself to death. In his time there he met a prostitute who he fell in love with. As most from her profession she had problems, her pimp was abusive but the thing is my friend didn't really have sex with her, he just wanted someone to keep him company. Over time they developed a bond, but he told her not to ask him to quit drinking and she accepted this. It was painful for her because she really did love him, despite his faults, their last moments together were amazing she told me, she accepted him for who he was and really did love him.
I wish I could like this three more times lololol

stupid movie

Sure, why not? Most of them are escorts or prostitutes just to make ends meet or because they make a shit ton of tax free cash.
Street hookers on the other hand are different I suppose. Most probably have either a drug habit or severe mental illnesses.

What a silly question...

You have to be a pretty wretched dude to marry a hooker. I would run a mile the second I found out.
